Being an owner of an ABM, I appreciate the fact that if I didn't have my 2010 and was looking to purchase a new camaro I would want a light blue!!! However, it was offered and was the least popular model color (3.46% http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...010+popularity)

Who all bought a 2010 (or 11) and wished it was ABM or another lighter blue color?

When you are at these meetings do you discuss small changes that could be made from one model year to the next (such as a passenger seat that isnt so low, paint chipping from the back spoiler, things that are easily fixed with small additions to the car) in addition to the big things like color or should there be a firebird or how good is our convertible.

Obviously you cant give away very much information but I think that a session like this would be a great way to inform GM of the little problems or quirks if you will in the camaro that are only revealed after miles driven and years owned. Obviously GM isnt about to go and shrink the C-pillars for better visibility but it would be very reasonable and feasible to make small changes to fix the little quirks.

But you all deserve a for helping out the camaro community like this

You guys (GM) have done something amazing with what the Camaro has to offer. I was never a fan as I guess you can say of Chevrolet's products but ever since the 5th Gen Camaro surfaced you can betcha I was eagerly waiting for the right time to purchase a 2010+ Camaro. After hearing about the addition of HUD for the 2011 models, I knew the time was right. Everyone at GM is definately headed in the right direction, of course you won't be able to please everyone but you'll end up pleasing most at the end of the day.

"Adapt and Overcome" words as a United States Marine that I live by in which the Camaro has done thus far, its all about overcoming the competition and your doing that...

As an engineer, marketing manager and a person that vowed I would never buy another GM car after my 1991 Gran Prix, I am truly amazed. GM is getting it. My Camaro is a true piece of quality engineering. GM has their "weird" back. Doing what they could always do build quality cars with unique style. They HAD to hit the mark with a name sake such as Camaro and they did. On a recent business trip I rented a Malibu, another quality vehicle, great motor, quiet, huge trunk, solid, great to drive and very roomy. Not sure why anyone would buy a Honda or Toyota.
Kevin I have one ask, at some point I would love to hear the conversations you had that can not be revealed now but once the product is out can be. How decisions were reached, why the engineers did what they did and why. And, how your input was used.
Thanks

I vote 1992 Chevrolet Neon Blue Metallic. That was a light bright, vivid blue almost as vibrant as Synergy Green Metallic. I liked the color so much I had it mixed up for my 1923 roadster! The paint was fantabulous!

As for the Disciples... thanks to all of you for representing the working men and women at this think tank. This is what makes GM rock!

It's reassuring to know that GM is listening, and I expected no less. They have assembled an outstanding "team Camaro". I think that speaks volumes considering where they were only one year ago. Plus building a quality, economical pure muscle car is hopefully contributing toward their bottom line while at the same time keeping smiles (Permagrins) on owner's faces.

I can honestly say, I'm Proud to own a General Motors vehicle again.

We "Camaro Nation", are Keeping the Faith. Lori
i "feel" that pride as well!..i have to be honest by saying i have not purchased anything the "general" has built for many, many years because i found better "quality" else where, notably in japan!..with that said,i took a "gamble" when i purchased the camaro, and i will go on record by stating that this car is the best damn car i have ever driven!..it appears to be well built ,and i am hoping,AND praying that it will NOT let me down, and will hold up over time!..great job..chevy!..ya made it all the way back!..i am proud to own a "chevy" again!

It's great that Chevy does this, and gets real people with real Camaro experience on the team.
1)I am hoping that the 2012 SSs and Z28s get a more modern feel and less of a musclecar feel. This is GM's most up to date platform and it needs to drive that way.
2)Take the suspension to the next level and remove some of the understeer.
3)The interior is not good, especially the steering wheel. Move it upmarket with more soft touch plastics. Get rid of the dish on the steering wheel.
4)This is a minor suggestion but will help tall people. Move the reaview mirror up a little. It blocks forward vision and when making right turns I have to duck down below the mirror due to the blind spot it creates.
5)Find a way to get 100-200lbs out of the car. I know it's expensive but every little bit helps.

I appreciate this write up Kevin, what really amazes me about this whole thing is that it actually is happening in the first place.

I may be wrong but I have not seen any others do this. Sure they may have a few well known people Like Shelby, Roush etc... say a word or two, but to actually have common everyday folks be a part of this ( This is not meant to be a slight) is absolutely amazing.

I remember the days of Baseball, Hot Dogs, Apple Pie and Chevrolet. It just makes you feel good when you have purchased GM products for the past 30 years or so, especially Chevy. If you are lucky enough to own a part of the history then you understand, but it is even more impressive when you own part of the future.

Ya'll have done a great job, Keep up the Great Work.

Scott my mother has worked for a Chevrolet dealership for nearly 30 years and I must say that the quality of the product that GM is producing now is top notch. There were times that it was a bit hard to be proud of the product (as is the same with all manufacturers) but I am simply amazed at the current lineup and the fact that GM is not even close to satisfied. Look forward!
