Guys,

The eXtreme Xa coil overs have been a real hit. Pedders is taking orders for them thru tonight ad pete recently decided to offer them to the Camaro group. The price thru tonight will be $1311+. You cannot order these thru our web store. It will require a 15% deposit to secure them. If you are interested, you must call Deb at Pedders at 248-522-8021

Hope everyone has a great New Years and be safe!

I just chatted with Deb. She takes all the orders. We really are going to tick off the Aussie dealers because we have sold sooooooooooooo many of the Xas. Pedders Au has to take away Au allocation to give to us!. Deb is having a hard time keeping up with the phones today!

Thanks to all of you. You will be outragously surprised.

When the time comes, we will document the install for everyone. We have cars set up in the bay area, where I am at, and will be doing dealer certifications in Fredricksburg, Texas.

the fronts are a piece of cake. They will be already assembled( we still think this for the Camaro but not 100% sure yet). The rears are pretty easy. You you will have to diss and transfer the top strut plate. Easy to do. Then you will have to drill a hole, instructions will be very accurate, to install the adjuster knob for the rears. So the install of these coil overs are pretty easy.

We will continously give warnings, however, to NEVER USE A IMPACT gun on the strut shafts. The struts shafts must not turn. turning the strut shafts will screw up the adjusting process. We will not warranty these install issues. But you do not need a impact. The top of the shaft will be notched for a wrench, so again, will be very easy to do and definately user friendly.

We will have 3 types of guys wanting to do installs. The Camaro is going to be a VERY serious road race and auto cross vehicle. Our complete TrackII setups, similiar to what GM Racing has done for the Koni Series Camaros, will be desired. Adding the pillow bearing and camber plate will definately be a desired option for these guys. The adjustability and control will be so much better than the rubber strut mount bushing. But the draw back will be more noise generation from the road. We are not sure yet just how much noise increase there will be. But those that are serious about the handling improvement these 2 additional parts will offer, will not be concerned about it.

Then we will have guys that will want what we will call is our Street II Xa kit. This kit will replace the 3 weak links in the Zeta II platform, radius rod, diff mount bushings, and rear cradle bush inserts. Plus will had a front tower brace that will be needed for the aggressive driver

Then we will have the guys who will just want the Xas only, and play thru the twisties only.

So the key is the Xa's and Pedders will offer you all kinds of support and options to meet your needs.

I wish everyone a very happy and save new years!!

I am still a bit surprised at the number of Xa coilovers we sold for the 5th Gen Camaro through this promotion. Thank you for your trust and support of Pedders. Here is a video of our four door Camaro on a skid pad.

We have tons of G8, and GTO units on the boat as I type. We should have the Camaro units in shipment prior the Camaro hitting full distribution. Part of the issues that we have with a new product is to get a production component, to be assured all the brackets and dimensions established, and not just from drawings and such. We have this part covered!

So we are in great shape. We have all the valving specs established, which is the hard part, and have all dimensions, brackets, etc. So we are truly ahead of the game.
