Ditto on the Bumble Bee factor, I have the Bee-otch air freshner and reserved the 4NZZ454 license plate as well. Just have to get the disco ball and I'll be good to go

I originally ordered the Rally Yellow for the BB factor but also had second thoughts. Others in the mix were Black, CGM, and IBM. I was almost ready to pull the trigger on a color change.

I was heading into town one day while still trying to make my decision and was driving about 200 yrds away from a 4 way stop when something caught my eye in the rear view mirror. It was a yellow Mustang GT. At that point I pretty much decided to stick with the Rally Yellow. Had that Mustang been any other color I highly doubt I would have even noticed it, but that Yellow stuck out like a sore thumb.

Since then I've been really watching the colors of cars on the road. EVERYONE has silver, gray, black, blue around here. So I'm sticking with the yellow. When you're driving a sweet ass car like the new Camaro you want EVERYONE to notice it!

Gotta go with black. Hard to keep clean but Ohhhhh so pretty when it's all shined up. I'll have the rims chromed and accents stand out better with black.
Also it gives that 'look at me' feel but in a subdued way. It almost sneeks up on you.

Victory Red because when I saw the red one at SEMA '08 it was love at first sight. The other 4 beautiful camaros at the show just didn't get my attention like the red one did.

Tell them to mix the colors first, and you have Black.

Good choice.

I would like a deep dark blue with high metal flake content... IBM not dark enough for me. So I ordered Black. The wife loves the new Camaro but insists that it be black because it looks so mean/aggressive. Sure she isn't the one that has to wash it.

I chose silver for several reasons:

It's gorgeous.

It shows the car's lines very well yet it can be made to look classy or sporty with some simple changes. I don't want that hot date thinking I'm going to mash the pedal alll over town and cause her eyelashes to get stuck to her forehead (we can ease into that).

At my age (53) I prefer the notion of a sleeper. No need to advertise that performance is king ala "arrest-me red". People will see a rather pedestrian silver, no stripes. Perfect for me.

Its in the top 3 of most popular car colors. That could be factored in if I chose to sell down-the-road. There's a bunch of links on the web that confirm this (ironically, white is the top color go figure, then black then silver)

That's about it for me. How about you?

Paul
Oh I very much agree with you! I think the silver shows the lines the best. I'm 29 and choosing Silver, however I'm choosing midnight silver wheels over the polished...and for that reason, I'm also getting dark grey stripes, I think that will balance the dark "flow" coming from the MS wheels.
I just think those grey stripes give the silver a bit more, yet not contribute to the flashiness too much, as I am with you in not wanting to stand out in the crowd, aka pull-me-over-red. So are you getting stripes? what wheels are you picking?
Mines going to have to be the humble 2LT, the 2SS is out of my price range...but that just gives me something to look forward to on my next next car

FYI, my 2nd choice would probably be the orange! It just looks good!

Cyber Gray Metallic....

Because Black is too hard to take care of and plus it will look good with blue Calipers and blue accents.

I LOVE black -- relevant past rides include 3 black Camaros, 3 black Caddys, a black Tahoe, and, currently, a black 06 Monte Carlo SS.

But I'm gonna order a Silver Ice 2SS/Black -- looks fantastic and doesn't show dust very easily - black stripes will add a little attitude.

Silver Ice all the way! Everyone whos picked this color knows it's all about the lines.

Might have gone for blue w/bumblebee white stripe if it was anything like my 67 350 SS I sold a few months back - but the blues aren't the same and I dont think this car could take a bumblebee stripe around the front and look right. Tossed around picking a flashy color like Orange or Bumble Bee Yellow, but this car just looks tight in silver. Doesn't even need stripes.

I have a black car right now.......never again.
