It's a coincidence. I was at that Boston car show and it was just cracked so that they could open it easier... there was no power going to the car and the button on the door is electronic.

I have read the thread!! Im on about two different places and scenarios it looks the same.
So you're saying that the car in the snow left its trunk open AND the one in the show did the same? OK, I will need more convincing though!

I don't see why that's so hard to believe. Every other car that's had their trunk fully closed doesn't look like that. So we've seen two cars that have a gap. One is 100% confirmed that the trunk wasn't fully closed and the other looks exactly the same as the previously confirmed instance. Since they look the same, and different than all the others, I would assume that they're under the same circumstance. And this is the same way other cars behave/look when you let the trunk down softly without pushing it closed.

None of the cars have exterior locks on the trunks that I have seen. That's one reason we saw the cords or handles hanging out on the IVER cars. Not sure if the production cars we are seeing have exterior lock access or not.

The show cars definitely have the trunks open. At Indy, Scott left the silver SS open because they disengaged power to the trunk so the fob or button wouldn't work.

Relax..........they will be fine when you get them.

They look exactly the same because that's what it looks like when you press that open trunk button on the door. The ones at the car shows have their battery disconnected and the trunk is popped because the battery is located in the trunk and the button on the door is not mechanical, it's electronic. So if it wasn't popped open you would either have to crawl through the backseat opening and pull the emergency cord on the trunk lid or hook up some jumper cables to the post in the front.

That has got to be a black interior, titanium gray on the vette is a very light gray. The bolsters on this Z06 seat are titanium gray.

See my point... or do you think this is just coincidence?
I'm not convinced the trunk is open. The top of the trunklid lines up with the top of the quarter panel. If it was open showing a gap above the taillights, wouldn't the top of the trunk be above the fender?

OH NO THE TRUNK IS OPEN!! Calm down people that is not poor workmanship or bad design. You know there are people that do work on those things here reading your comments. Talking about "poor workmanship". Have a little respect for them would ya. There is nothing wrong with the car, another panic mode averted.
