Voted last Tuesday. A guy that was running for Sherrif came over and met me as I was getting out of the car to smooze about the awesomeness of the Camaro, and then of course to tell me to vote for him.

I vote but freedom means the right to choose not to vote. I don't think you can hang a "dishonoring fallen soldiers" guilt trip on a citizen who chooses not to vote. Low voter turnout can speak volumes...

History holds a strong lesson about the cost of voter apathy.

They came first for the Communists,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew.

Then they came for me
and by that time no one was left to speak up.

I vote at all elections and am always sorry to see things get no better.

Can I use FBodFather as write-in candidate for any spots that have only lousy options.

Apathy did. The point is, people will slowly and unwittingly let themselves be ruled and destroyed without constant vigilance. Thats why our Founding Fathers created our republic FOR and BY the people.

OK, one more try to help you understand. The majority of Germans were not Nazi's. They did not support Hitler. Rather they stood silent until it was too late to stop him. Thats Apathy.
