I actually drove a 1SS/RS A6 yesterday just to see how it felt. I was surprised to find that I did not get blown away. First of all, it was very quiet compared to my car due to the stock exhaust (Flowmasters are great on the V6 by the way). So, I'm going to wait until the 12's come out and see how I feel about it. Nothing really to lose. If the 12's are nothing special, I should be able to pick up a remaining 11 for a much better price. If you can, wait until the new alpha platform arrives in 2014. It "should" out perform the current 5th Gen models, and be lighter.
