Yes, as a matter of fact.....One very Mighty HorsePower..LOL....This horse was undefeated in all 6 of his races, and dominated in almost every race (by an average of 6 lengths at the wire) Here's a helicopter view of his Derby win....Now just imagine this same dominating scenario with a Camaro in the lead, and a pack of Mustangs in futile pursuit....Isn't hard to do, is it?

This thread was a pure joy to read after all the doom and gloom threads over allocation. Thanks for starting this one Number 3 and feel free to torture us any time.

Number 3, I guess this would be an appropriate time to ask how the defrosters work in this weather. We've got just as much if not more snow than you right now.
I'll be driving mine year round. So quick heat and a strong defrost fan are very much appreciated. How well do they work? |

So far, I have no complaints regarding rear or front defroster performance. It has been a surprisingly good car for snowy or slippery roads. The traction control seems almost perfect. I can even get it up the driveway, which is more than can be said for some other RWD cars. All Seson tires help I'm sure.
Of course on a happier note I have discovered the fun that can be had when you turn the traction control off on dry pavement.

The picture might answer my question but how does the G8 get around in the snow? I am trying to talk my parents into one, but my dad is pushing for a Cadillac DTS because it is front wheel drive.

RWD > FWD in snow. Providing you know how to drive, countersteer, and react timely. Not to mention its WAYYYYYYYYY more fun. FWD in the snow ftl. *understeer... understeer... understeer...*

I am sure that with the FWD weight bias that a FWD car could be a bit better in certain circumstances, but with traction control and all season tires, I have thus far been very impressed with the Camaro. RWD with modern chassis controls (ABS, Traction Control) and good all season tires make for a pretty decent package these days for winter driving. Just as a reference, prior to the Camaro, I had an HHR SS for just a couple of weeks. Couldn't get up the driveway on a very snowy night. Just spun the tires, which were not All Season.

Thankfully, for this very special horse, I was not the jockey...lol...I would be a terrible jockey-too tall, and too afraid of falling off a running horse!
