Ok folks, after talking with Hylton and calling up more than half a dozen dealers in my area, here are the results:

Hylton: LS' 18s will not fit an LT w/ RS package
3 dealerships agree with Hylton
4 dealerships say the 18s will fit

I also have a friend of mine who works at the Milford testing ground check with an engineer for confirmation. (Hylton, I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just hoping they fit).

In the meantime, my 1LT w/ RS is on its way to my dealership from the factory at which point they will try fitting the stock 18s that I ordered with Pirelli Snow and Ice tires to see exactly what issues there are, if any.

Stay tuned.

UPDATE:

According to Tom Gardner of GM's Global Rear Wheel Drive Division,

"The 18" 19" and 20" wheels will all fit on a V6 Camaro, of any trim level."

There you have it folks! 18 inch steelies will fit an LT with an RS package.

Case closed.

Well I'll be the first to eat crow. Anyone have some tabasco sauce?

I still say they won't fit over the Brembos though....

Thanks JChen

I've eaten crow, it's best fried

I'm not betting on the brembo fitment issue, but they would make great sleeper wheels.... If they fit
