Look at the door when it's open. Different lighting (general show lights vs dome light in car) yet it still looks lit up the same way. My understanding was that although the pipe may be at the top, it would illuminate the whole thing. You can see that in the vid, especially the closer shots, there is a bit of a brighter strip running along the top. Also, there's some "dead" spots, that look less light than others (probably why we've heard of ABL issues, they're probably trying to get it 100% uniform). Also, when he restarts the car at 5:30, it seems clear to me that the light isn't from an external source, it seems to flicker too uniformly to be from an external source.

from what i understand, the pieces do sorta 'glow.' they've said something about them having to be translucent, so that means light needs to be able to shine through it. i can't think of any reason we'd need light to go in so we can see the inside of the door panel, so that leaves one other option...

I agree with that explanation.

I also believe it is a test car from Indy. All the warning lights are on, and the information center has messages that don't pertain to this vehicle "Service 4WD". Not sure about the ABL either.

I thought it had the Boston Acoustics not the stock. I think that is what he says at around 4:55

the BA system is stock on the 2SS, which this is based on the SS badges & IOM interior

If this is the car from Indy, then yes this is ABL. It has been confirmed that the SS from Indy does have ABL. Sorry if this has already been stated. Last time the the ABL was spotted in the 'on' state on this car, Suburban's were dispatched and rumor has it a man's arm was supposedly broken by Fbodfather himself. Looks like it's become more developed since then.

It probably is the car from Indy. It's not one of the newest cars that we've been seeing lately because the interior headlamp switch/dial is the older style and not the new style with the chrome accent ring.

Also, if you type in &fmt=18 in your browser at the end of the video URL for all youtube videos, it'll play them in higher quality. Didn't sound like it did much for the audio on this video but on some, it's night and day as far as the video and audio goes.

Why do we have to wait for a home made video, posted by a guy with a phone cam, from some far away foreign country, before we can actualy get a chance to see how a Camaro feature works?
