I guess you don't know why they did this?

The doors on the Camaro are very long. If you had to park with pump on the drivers side, you would not be able to open the door.

1) Factory PAINTED stripes option
2) Upgraded exhaust option
3) Change the colour of the bowties to go a bit better with some of the colours... The gold kinda sticks out a bit.

Anyone have any idea of the interior is going to change at all for the 2012 model next year?

I never thought of that way. But you're right, it's a pain to open a 2-door on the pump side. Way to go Chevy !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Better quality interior materials in addition to the rumored redesign.

Indeed. The Germans originally came up with the idea to place the fuel door on the passenger side in the first place. Why you may ask? Because if you ran out of gas on the Autobahn, I am sure you wouldn't want to be refueling your car while cars go by you at 100+ mph.

Theres a few hundred things I think GM could have done much better on the SS. However, I'll list just a few items:

1. Memory seating
2. Reverse tilt side mirrors
3. Curb sensor
4. LED side mirrors.
5. Reverse camera.
6. Ambient lighting (dash) (finish the job right GM)
7. DRL as fogs (switch)

And, yes I know there would be a fee for all this, but, I would rather pay the fee up front than pay aftermarket retail prices and have to do all the work myself for another fee (labour charges), not to mention the hours / days of not having use of vehicle while it's in the shop being "completed".
