not rich by any means. just another slave to his job giving up too much of it towards a monthly car payment to have what he wants.

some how I talked myself up from a 1ss to a 2ss. typically I can dismiss a package based on not wanting or needing at least half of it .. but damnit the 2ss options were all things I wanted. same goes for the RS.

Have you ever heard of a rich federal employee on hourly wage?.. me neither! Guess that's why I'm not rich. I make monthly payments.

And honestly I don't think anyone here with all these mods just one day decided to go draw money out of the bank and drop it on s supercharger, pistons, cam, exhaust, tuning ect. I think alot of it was one peice at a time or alot of money saved just for that.

Working hard and saving money for the things you want seems to have fallen out of vogue these days.

The way to get a 2SS for anyone is an easy process. You start out buying an LS or LT and take care of it. Drive it until it is paid off and take good care of it. Trade it in for a 2LT or 1SS and repeat the process. Keep working at your career and taking care of your car and avoid large debt or getting "upside down". You would be amazed how easy it is.

I've seen people do this sort of thing with all sorts of cars or other expensive items.

It really works!

Very true, but i will never give away this car for an SS. Although i did give away my 01 Monte Carlo SS for this one but that car gave a lot of problems and thats a whole other subject. i want to someday hand this car to my son/daughter (currently dont have kids yet). Getting ready...

If you think 34K for a car is crazy, imagine how youd look when you saw the 52K suburban I bought.
and No not rich. I work hard in a steel mill and like to drive nice cars. I dont drink, go out or smoke my money away, unless you count the tires on the back of my 2SS camaro

All of us in our own way are helping keep the economy afloat. 2 car payments here. I traded in my 2008 GMC Sierra SLT for my 2011 2SS/RS. I needed a winter beater, so I leased a 2010 Honda Civic LX. Couldn't beat the deal on that one. Less than $200 a month to take the abuse so my Camaro doesn't have to. The little thing is pretty good in the snow too. We got a foot of the white stuff here yesterday and it plowed right through it for the most part.

Not rich, just have the means and don't mind some debt.

I'm not rich either even tho I only own a 2lt. Which yes I admit I had help getting besides a car loan, just to say I'm paying them back and making a easily afforable car payment and a motorcycle payment. Yes I work blue collar job buy it's close and has great benefits.

As I was told anybody can any car buy do they want that high car payment to go with it and would it be worth it?

Once you get rid of the useless crap that eats up your income (Food, housing, clothes, entertainment, ex-wives) cars are really inexpensive.
