Scare tactics. Don't believe the haters. Not one of us on here that actually own a set of OBX headers have a single bad thing to say. And no...I don't work for OBX.

I don't know about those complaints but they were great when I contacted them about the problem I had with my OBX headers. I've also heard the BBB is a load of crap so I don't know how good a tool that is.

Update:
I searched long and hard....I'm pretty good on finding hard to find information since it is my job. (except anything about the Z28)

Ok OBX according to the Better Busniess Bereau is located at 405 Victory Ave, Unit K. South San Francisco, CA 94080.
However a search of the chamber of commerce doesn't have a listing for that business at all. But for that address I found that is is actually called ADVANCE MANUFACTURING GROUP USA.
And big surprise (insert sarcasim) Advance Manufacturing Group USA is not listed on the BBB or the chamber of commerce of sanfrancisco, oakland or south francisco. This means they are might named something else ... if they are even part of the group.
A quick search of Advance Manufacting Group USA finds they are an importer from several countries including China, Thialand, and Korea. But they do have offices in Oakland as well.
Below is a bill of Lading please note point of origin and then look at the bottom, notice decleration of goods OBX.

Who was it that said it was never proven that OBX is made in china? I know the bill of ladin calls out the shipment is gauges but I don't feel like I need to payout money to become a member Import Genius to prove a point.

So thier products are china made, imported by a Chinese owned broker, shipped out of a warehouse front in South Francisco, and isn't very popular with the BBB.

Whoever told you that is wrong. They are out to help customers solve thier complaints with a company. The BBB only has bad thing to say if the company refuses to work with customers.

Isn't there already a thread for debating this? Didn't the OP say he didn't care about where is was made, if it's a knock, etc.?

Any update on when We could see some more ? I'm gonna buy some I see no reason to pay more than twice the price for a header . It's a header not a cam or heads it's just tubular metal . So please go pay $1500 for some header so you can run the same as a guy or girl with $400 headers .

A little ignorant, man...

BBB has been unbiased and has no vested interest in these companies. They have saved my a-- more than once. In fact, car dealerships go CRAZY over an A rating from them....odd they post their A ratings on the front page to their websites from a business which is a load of crap. Go to a dealership that refuses basic warranty work without cause and call BBB...you will get calls back from those service departments.

...and you are welcome for Buster Posey. Go Noles!

I find it funny how people talk so much shit about OBX headers but never comment on the ones being sold by clear image or oversteering.( which need to be dimpled or beaten with a freaken hammer to clear the steering shaft) Seems like the propaganda machine is cranked up and running

I am not entirely sure what this has to do with BBB? lol

I agree with you, but no one will ever complain about a company that cannot sell a product. If clear image and oversteering made products that were essentially "plug and play" they would be actually be selling more...

However, the main argument many American based companies and venders people make here (and OBX owners admit) is they are direct knock offs of the kooks headers. Same design etc etc...except sold from a company overseas. I am not bashing anyone who bought them, but the point you are making isn't quite as relevant. If you have to buy headers from clear image then they certainly DID NOT create knock off headers from ARH, Kooks, or Stainless if you have to hammer them into pudding. Don't sit here and tell me the OBX owners don't know this because they all say "well I am getting the same product for 800 dollars less." Again, its their money, their cars they can do whatever they want...I won't b---h. With that said, if people actually did research they would see they could get a set of LTs for 800-900 for a reputable brand, when people see they cost 1200-1500 you are talking coated, catted, and some even with xpipe.

I know I can't sell a header you have to dent to make fit. If I told a customer that I would be taken to task in the buyer feedback section. But I guess if you sell it for almost nothing people people are willing to overlook that.

The whole thing is pretty screwed up. Basically, you can steal someone elses design, make it overseas, with bottom of the barrel quality, and questionable fit, backed with uncertain support. Yet instead of being viewed as a questionable way of doing business, there are still some customers see a screaming deal and will ignore all the negatives because they can't see past their wallet.

I've had to dimple a couple sets of Kooks over the years. I don't think I have ever installed a brand of header that every single set has fit perfect.

Thumbs up OBX

My OBX fit perfect! Didn't even have to move the steering shaft out of the way.
