Synergy Green is what what caught my eye at a dealer ship off the highway back and forth to work I kept saying to my self I need to test drive one of the new Camaros.
One day me and the wife were out and about and I was like lets stop in and test drive one.. I fell in love before I tuned it over,a few weeks later I have a Synergy Green Camaro sitting in the garage.. I grew up a Chevy guy, built my own 327 and 350 4 bolt motors back in the day. had a 70 Monty Carlo,a 71 Nova,a 78 Nova, and a 78 Chevy short box Van.. I miss the Monty Carlo the Most that car was Freaking Fast for such a big car.. I always wanted a 67 or 69 Camaro but it never happened and when I saw this car I just had to have it..Funny thing is I almost changed my mind and went with a black one but as soon as I saw this one sitting in the showroom I knew I was staying with the Synergy Green, and I still smile like a little kid everyday I open up the garage door.. |

I saw a victory red camaro in Sedona, AZ almost a year ago while on vacation. I was going to be in the market for a thirty thousand car and really liked the new camaro. Before I bought one, I actually won the car I have today.

I first saw the car back in 06. If I remember correctly I saw it in Disney World at the Test Track ride. and saw it again at the New York Auto show in 07.
And from there I've been following the Camaro ever since. There was something about the car that never went away from my mind. And the Transformers Movie just made me want it more!! LOL Back then before the Camaro came out I was still living in the Philippine's and me and my dad would always talk about it. When I moved here to the US in 09 and the Camaro was about to be released and I told my dad that maybe the Camaro is the car really ment for me because it waited me to move here to the US to go on sale! LOL and my dad said " HA a V8 for a 16 y.o.?? Not gunna happen!!" But I kept convincing and convincing him to get the car. after almost a year of me convincing my dad he said MAAAYBEE. March last year my dad came down here for spring break I draggg'd my dad to the GM dealership and made him test drove the Camaro and after the test drive everything was history. Now I have my '10 2SS/RS LS3

January 15th 2006. Around 10AM. A crowd was gathered at the Chevy display. I heard rumors of a new Camaro...
At the time I wasn't too interested in cars but I had just gotten my first car 3 years prior and loved it to death. But there was one other car that I would love even more on top of it. A 2002 Camaro Z28. Unfortunately, that year when I heard the car was being discontinued I felt a hole in my stomach. My dad as well. Both my parents had Camaros as teens and early 20 year olds. I always asked about them, the allure of such a vehicle captivated me as a newly minted driver. So when we all heard about the commotion at the show (we went there traditionally the first day of the public show) about a Camaro we all rushed to the exhibit. Standing on my toes to see over the crowd of similarly heighted people I saw it. The Silver Ice Metallic concept. Not sure if Mr Settlemire was delivering the intro himself or if it was someone else but I knew right then and there that I had to have one. My mother did too. Dead set then and there. Unfortunately, when she finally got behind the wheel of an LT production vehicle she became dismayed. It just wasn't the same as her 69. The roofline was low, belt line high.. she just couldnt take the blindspots and with a sigh had to walk away. I on the other hand, still pine for the car to this day. New or Used, I will have one for a daily driver if the money is there. For a RWD sport coupe it's a very reasonable vehicle, much like my Trans Am (well maybe not the LS1 but who cares when you have 8 pistons of GM fury under the hood?). |

I don't even remember honestly. I hadn't really cared for any car until about 3 months prior to my purchase. I was purely a truck guy. One day I just kind of figured I'd shoot for something different...

Probably my dad. My dad had been a huge camaro guy. His first car was a '73 camaro and he owned two more after that. The last one being an '87. He sold the '87 for a buick park avenue ultra (yeah I know...he still laughs at himself). Once the 5th gen concept came out it was almost like it ignited the passion in him again. Im some ways he was probably more excited than I was. He even went to all three test drives with me. He loves my car almost as much as I do and to me that's pretty special.

My dads a huge Chevy guy, hes had various 70's Nova SS through the years and so Ive always had a bit of a soft spot for muscle, and for Chevy.
![]() But in truth, for most of my life Ive been more of a fan of european cars, I always figured I would be driving a BMW or something. But when I was finally getting the money together to get my dream car I realized that european styling had gone from angular and aggressive, to driving an egg on wheels. So I looked at some Japanese cars at first, notable the 370z and Lancer Evo, but unfortunately both were just to cramped in the interior for a guy my size (6ft, 200lb). So then I moved on to the American market, around that time Camaros were just starting to show up in numbers and I ran across a few in person. For some reason, the pictures and movie I had seen it in just didnt do it justice and I was smitten. I had given the Mustang a once over, and it was nice, but when I saw the Camaro in person ( in black ) the styling had me. Then found out it had IRS instead of a solid rear, I became truly intrigued. As I delved more and more into its specs and saw what I now view as superior to many european cars in its price range, my decision was made.A Camaro it would be.

I had a 96 Mustang Cobra but sold it soon after i bought cause at that time i couldn't even afford a beater. I got a really well paying job now and decided i need to upgrade cars, i knew i wanted a sports/muscle car this time around and would just buy a cheap car for the winter. I looked at CTS-Vs, GTOs and Vettes but I just couldn't convince myself to buy used again. Well i then decided to look at brand new cars I checked out the Challenger but it was too heavy, then my friend told me to look at the new Camaros and Mustangs. I remembered seeing the concept and loved it in the Transformers movies, so i went to test drive the Camaro and Mustang. Well the Ford dealership wouldn't even talk to me so that sealed the deal on the Camaro. I went and looked and test drove a 2011 and i just had to have it. Just a couple of months to pay off my current car and sell my motorcycle then I will order my 2012 since i have already been approved for a loan and bought a winter beater.

The 1st gen Camaro. Always wanted to get a 1st gen and hot rod it. Then when the 5th gen was announced, I thought: That's what I wanted to with the 1st gen. So here I am.
