End of the last year I bouhgt a set of wheels from an Ebay auction from Factory Reproductions. I bought a set of 9x22" and 10x22" wheels and additionally I had to pay a lot of money for shipping to germany, taxes and duty (more than 3000 Euro in total)

Some weeks later – suprise at the wheel shop: They told me that the wheels are new but they are not centered - the wheels are crap.
They balanced them with weights of more than 160g. After a test drive I really got angry. The car is shaking like a whashing machine. The steering wheel is shaking and if I am driving the car like this further damage at the car is highly probable.

After many emails to Factory Reproductions (they said i should use a Hunter balancer - what I have done with no better results) I sent them some videos I have made of the wheels on the balance machine. Since then they do not reply my mails.

My last chance was a „wheel-doc“. They told me that my the wheels are irreparable in an extend that it is impossible due to an shipping accident. It has to be it a result of a manufacturing error.

More then 2000 Euro went down the drain (wheels only)- i have only one good wheel and three are crap.

Thank you Factory Reproductions

here The Vids again, i can show more of this Vids , have more than one from each wheel

I was just in the process of making the same purchase. Thank you for posting and saving me and others possibly the same problem from Factory Reproductions

i would ask the Company , if i where you , they should do testing the Wheels on an balancer so you are on the savety side .And say you will the test results .
I hope there was an Big Mistakt with my order, the good for you is im the only one person with that problems. But soon it will be fixed - so i hope.
At this time i can say they have now contakt my and send my new wheels , thats an really good signs from FR. They olso answer fast of all my Mails.
But you are living in there Area from FR , i would drife to them and let install the Wheels direkt on you car ,so see all in person.

Also, Keep in mind guys... If you do a tire package with the wheels, there is no way they would EVER ship out like this. Wheels are inspected before they leave, but its mostly for physical defects. This is NOT a common occurrence with 1 piece wheels

Hey Folks,

the wheels have been delivered today!!!

First thing was to have them checked at the very same shop that did the first set - just for piece of mind...
What can I say.... perfect, they look awesome and quality seems spot on. Still, we needed to put some serious weights on to run them balanced, but nothing unusual, especially as we had them on the balancer without tires. All is good!!!

I therefore want to officially thank Factory Reproduction for taking care about this issue and replacing the wheels.
A big "THANK YOU" to all of you around here, who have kept their fingers crossed, supported me with great advices and for re-establishing the contact with FR so everything was sorted out eventually.

Unfortunately I still need to wait until April to get out on the streets and enjoy the new set of rims, but I'm pretty confident that this story will see a happy ending!
I'll post some pics as soon my baby is back up and running again!!

Thanks again to this forum
and to FR for their service and those awesome wheels!!!

:happy anim:

I have had FR wheels since they came out and BFXenon did a group buy and I love them. No problems at all here. Some people let one bad experience ruin a bunch of peoples opinions.

Glad you got the wheels and everything worked out!
