The most I'd do to my car is add an SS bumper only because I love the look...I'd keep the "RS" badges and even add a "3.6l v6" decal on the side of it just to show I'm not tryna blend in as a v8

Haha i remember someone at a show i went to in PA had a 2010 with few mods and claimed it a z28. He got it like embroidered in the headrests and stuff. I have a pic of it somewhere.

I see this alot around here, Ive seen numerous Shelby/Super Snake immitation V6 Mustangs around here over the years. I dont get it

Not at all. You have an SS. No where are you saying you have an SLP car.
It's not about things that other cars have and you have put them on your car. It's about whether or not your car is badged as one thing, yet is indeed something else. If a V6 guy likes an SS spoiler, then go for it. That's a nice addition. The problem would be if he also put an SS badge on the car.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you my 64 Chevelle Malibu SS that I had 40 some odd years ago. It did however have the same 283 Power pack motor and tranny as the "real SS". It just had an extra set of doors to let everyone know it was "me"

I was at my local dealeship the other day and a guy came in and ordered SS badging for his 5th Gen. He said that someone stole his SS badges so he was having to get new ones to replace them. And I have seen several V6 cars withh SS badging.

I think that car was at the "World of Wheels" this past weekend at the convention center.
