I have a 1LT and 1 day after I bought her had my dealer order me the RS package! And was priced $1500 as if it would had cost from factory since they didn't have any 1LT/RS's in a M6! So now I have RS badging on her! But I know my VIN speaks the truth of the 1LT non RS trim model!

2SS/RS A6 all the way!

However, I am considering changing my shifter surround out for a manual style leather boot- just because the sliding plastic surround doesn't look as nice, and is prone to vibrations and weird noises...

Mine has M5 badges on it
Vtec stickers on the sides by the gills
SV on the doors
and Shellby on the back

No problem. It's ok to take original badging off, just not to add it on and be a poser (or imposter as the thread title says.)

1LT here. thinking of adding the aux. gauge. havent made my mind up completely.. do like having the extra space for cell phone,gps, sunglasses placement when not in use.

2SS/RS
Removed the rear SS badge for the "Hurst Equipped" badge

Wanted the SLP Redline wheels, not to mimic the ZL cars, but because of the Dale Jr. edition... oh well, settled for factory repros w/ pinstripe.

I might wind up purchasing the Hurst Edition wheels

Everyone thinks I put an RS badge on my car because I have the "heritage" steel wheels off a base LS.

My car is a 2LT/RS but I take the aluminum wheels and Pirelli P-Zero summer tires off for the winter.

I like the look of black on black, and just when I get tired of one wheel set-up, the seasons change and I get a "new" car for another six months!

I have the 2LT / RS added JBA Headers and Magnaflow exhaust system. IMO if you add badges to make your car something it is not...That's just plain wrong.

I drive a 2011 Camaro 2SS/RS.

The only thing I did to it was...

Blackened the Gills, Mail Slot, and Trunk Lip
Drop-In K&N Air Filter
Removed Camaro Badging off fenders
Front Mud Flaps
SMD LED's in the DRL's
FieldGoal's wiring harness
Tazmanian Devil Floor Mats and...

...My own awesomeness when I sit in it.
