How long will it take for you to get tired of people stopping you and asking a bunch of questions and wanting pics.
Also, will you let people sit in yours? Not just people you know but people in general.
And the biggie. Will you let people drive it? Not people in general, but people you know.

I don't think I will get tired of people stopping me and asking me questions. I love meeting new people and I'd love to be able to promote the Camaro at the same time.

I'll let people sit in it if they look straight enough. No hairy fat guys without shirts, that's for sure.

I'll let certain people drive it like my girl and a couple of close friends.

I'll always be happy to answer questions. I can't justify letting random people sit in it or drive it. One of the reasons i'm getting a manual trans is so my fiancee' can't drive it. I'll let her if she learns, thats the deal. I'll let my dad and brother drive it cause they've done the same for me.

Try to get all of the people together for a meet somewhere near Philly who were at the Camaro event at the Philly Auto show..then we all could just sit around and look and talk Camaro........could you just imagine the stares everyone else would have then?

Well I already do experince it, but to a lesser degree. I drive my Camaro quite often when it's nice out. I must say that I've had some pretty ridiculous things said and asked, usually when I'm at the gas station. I make special effort to be as nice as I can and respond positively, after all they did express interest. I strive to remember that in this situation I am acting as an ambassador representing Camaro owners as a whole. I would hate to have people left with the impression that, "Those Camaro owners sure are ****'s!"

Edit: Don't really get people asking to sit in it, usually just want a picture standing next to it. But I have had them ask if their kid can sit in it for a picture which I'm more than happy to do. "Possibly influence and create a life long Camaro fan?, You bet!"
And I'm more than happy to open/close the hood, if they're interested enough and nice enough to ask I find it quite flattering and am happy to comply!

P.S. irpq11, when people act like that I won't even bother flattering them, wouldn't want a picture of their stinkin' car anyway!
