The lights look great & are exactly what I want in my backseat. Can you tell me what you used to attach the lights to the back glass? I have the AAC strips but am afraid the attached 3m tape may not hold up in the Texas heat? Also where did you run the wires & how do you get them under the trim parts? Any advice you can provide will be greatly appreciated. I already have the front footwells installed.

I used the tape that was provided. Clean the glass well. So far so good. Just tucked the wires up under the head liner over to the side, under the trim along the door sill inner plastic covers, to the foot wells and tied them into those wires.

Good luck ask again if you should have any questions.

Just like that ! ^^^^ On the door side I did remove the the inner plastic panel and I used Sticky aluminum tape to hold down the wires as they run the Length of the door area. Just to make sure it doesn't move .
I used the tape that came on mine as well but you can buy some red 3M double back tape at AutoZone if you don't like what came on yours .. Just make sure you clean the back glass really good ! Stick it up as close to head liner as you can and run it toward the Passenger side and tie it into your footwells .

Good luck !

I already have the ABL kit installed footwells/dome ect., and bought another kit this week since it was on sale. Gonna go put one up in the back, thanks for making this thread!

Since 1 should be plenty up in the back, now I just gotta think where to use the other one to show it off.

I'll post pics tonight of it finished!

I think ABL or any color people are interested in with 2 of the LED bulbs for dome and trunk, and with 4 LED strips, 2 of them for foot wells, and the other 2 for the rear or desired use would be awesome.

Just installed the one strip in the rear and works great. I'm sure 2 would be super bright back there. I'll post up pics tonight when its dark.

I've got 2 extra ABL LED lights and a strip left now I'll tuck away if I ever need them.

I too just ordered two more aqua strips from AAC for the back seat. I tried buying two stips of red LEDs from a local shop and it was a disaster they look terrible, lesson learned.

Does AAC sell the LED's with the extra wiring to run in threw where you need to run it and merge with the front footwells ( which I already have done ^.^ ) ??? If so i would definitely be interested in one long strip to put up!!!

After thinking that NO one every rides in the back and really couldn't if they wanted to i decided to add the Abl leds to the upper part of the headliner . It's hid pretty good and I ran the wires all the way around the side of the headliner to the pass door , down to the side kick panel and up the the front footwells and tied them in there .

I really like the look and now i can see whats in the back seat at night ! :woot: Got lots of WOW'S last night at the hang out . I like being the 1st to do things around here !

Next up --- ABl Door Handles and Cup Holder leds

Edit .....Ok i have added some close up pics of where i placed the over head leds .
I used a 15" ABL strip (1) and placed it as close the the liner as possible . As you can see if you climb in the backseat and look up that there is a black strip on the window that is part of the rear defrost material on the window . This is where i placed the strip
. That way you can't see it from the outside or even in the car unless your inside and setting in the back seat.
Then you can see where i ran the wire around the pass side of the head liner molding .Tucking it as i went .
Sorry for the pics but i'm 6' 4' and its pretty tight back there to lay down and get these pics .
Hope this helps
I really like how the lighting turned out! Hats off to you for a good idea and a clean install!
