I just sold my favorite car this past weekend it was our 1990 Camaro RS. It was not a muscle car just a 6 cyl that my wife bought new 21 years ago when she graduated from college. We came home from our wedding in that car, drove it to Glacier Natl Park in Montana and to countless other places. Too many memories to list here. Sold it because it was getting to be too much to maintain now. We love our new 2 LT convertible and hope to have it another 20 years of memories in it.

I am 47 and I have owned alot of vehicles over the years. I always did the "responsible" thing and bought the car I wanted but not the top of the line or with everything I wanted. This is the first time I bought a top of the line car with everything I wanted. This by far is my favorite car. Chevrolet did a great job with this car and everytime I open the garage I have a grin on my face from ear to ear.

I'm 28 and I've had a few cars I've absolutely loved for different reasons.

To date, I've owned these cars:

1990 Chevy Lumina Euro
1992 Chevy Cavalier
1994 Chevy Camaro (3.4)
1997 Chevy Camaro (3.8)
1997 Chevy S10 Blazer
2004 Ford Focus
2000 Chevy Camaro Z28
2006 Dodge Magnum
1989 Camaro RS
1998 Camaro Z28
2007 Volkswagen GTI
2009 Chevy Colorado
2011 Chevy Camaro SS along with a 2009 Jeep Wrangler X

...Out of all those, the 1997 Camaro was my favorite. It was a car that I purchased during my senior year of high school and it lasted me more than halfway into college. I drove the snot out of that car. Lots of firsts. Really learned how to drive.

My buddy and I took our first self-funded, and zero-supervision road trip in that car just following high school down to California. We hit 100+ more than once (lucky we're still alive). That car was all about growing up and having fun.

I also really enjoyed the Colorado, but only kept it a short while because I wanted to get back to a V8 Camaro. I think the 2011 has some good memories coming, but I need to drive it more. I've had it for almost 5 months and it's only got just over 1,000 miles. I don't know what I'm waiting for, but I guess I put all my 'general purpose' miles on the Jeep. That thing is a lot of fun too. Once the good weather arrives here in Seattle, I'll be putting more miles on the SS.

My most memorable car was probably my 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Convertible, manual 4 speed. I learned to drive in that car, cruised Broadway most nights, met guys, made friends, visited Sonic and McDonalds a lot!

My favorite car would probably have to be the 1998 gold v6 Camaro with t tops and ground effects. My first mid life crisis car

It looked like this one. My 2011 hasn't been around long enough yet, but we're getting there!

BTW, some of you all should come over and visit us in the Old Farts thread under the Off Topic Discussions at the bottom of the forum! We have lots of fun
