I'm from Windsor Locks. I ordered my SS/RS2, RJT from Oneills Chevy in Avon on 07/15/09 and as of today I am at 3300 with a TPW of 08/10/09! Can not wait. We will have to set up a cruise once we all get ours!

I Live in Avon and my summit white Camaro is at 3400. If we get our cars before Mark's Monday night cruise closes for the season we could meet there. I go to marks just about every Monday with my antique car.

Hey Joe. When I last talked to Jim Wood over there he said there was mine and 1 other on order, guess you are the other! Who is your sales guy at O'Neils? Are you dealing with Fred?
I ordered my 1SS/RS IOM from them and have a tpw of 8/3 (pushed back from 7/27) - the wait is getting to me now!

I ordered mine on Tue, I believe 7/21. Somewhere around there. My guy is Scott although Jim helped out as well. I know Jim from when he worked in Windsor Locks. Those guys are great over there. He told me someone ordered a orange one but I thought he said it was delievered already. He then told me another one was ordered the day after I placed mine and it was for another orange one.

I was orginally going to order a orange one, then I thought I would get black with orange stripes but then I finally setteled on rjt. Hope I made the right choice!?

I ordered mine back in May but asked them to hold off for an August delivery, which they. I met with Jim the first time I went there and him and Fred were the reason I ordered from them. There was an orange one that was delivered that I stopped by and saw. It was a 2SS with black stripes - pretty nice. I saw an RJT over in East Hartford and it is a very sharp color, so I think you'll be pleased. I was between orange and rjt myself.

Have you had any issues with getting updates from Scott? I seem to always miss Fred and have to call Jim.

Thats funny because whenever I call there Fred seems to answer the phone. I usually call in the morning when they first open. I haven't called Scott in a while because I have been checking here and VIZ has been hooking me up.

I just noticed you are from Enfield. What made you go out to Avon to order? It was a good choice because those guys are good out there. Well Jim and Scott are, haven't dealt with Fred. What kind of finanacing did you get or what kind are you looking at?

I usually call Fred after I leave work - like 5:30 or so. I get to work before they open so that's why I don't call then. I had viz check my order but there was something screwy going on b/c he kept getting a 00000 code, so I called both Jim and Fred and they both told me nope 3000 tpw of 7/27.

I went to probably like 5 or 6 chevy dealers before picking where to order from. They were the guys I got the best vibe from and felt the most comfortable with, plus I got MSRP and they are taking $1000 of my GM Card points. They also are working with me on my trade. My father-in-law is a used car dealer and they said if he can sell my car for more than they are offering they would let me trade it for that price and sell it to him. Overall, I just thought they were good people.

I am financing through PenFed since they couldn't beat their rates. What about you?

Yeah they are good people. I didn't finance yet because I wanted to save my money and put down as much as I could, that way I would finance less. Did you get a good rate? I'm hoping to get somewhere around 4%. I hope GM decides to offer a 2.9 or even a 0%. Wishful thinking I guess.
