Any plans of incorporating side units to save your rims & sidewalls?

At current we're not looking to develop a side-specific unit, but, people have installed this unit on the side and rear of their vehicles. There's plenty of wire, and the mounting point for it can be pretty universal. It's not designed for that, but, an inventive individual can make it work much anywhere because of its design.

Thanks,
Matt

We just did an install on an SS (all models would be the same)....The Video is here. We also offer a Camaro specific installation package.

Camaro Curb Alert Install

Video is at the bottom of the page.

Thanks,

Jim

I installed these on my 2006 Corvette Coupe and my wife's 2010 Camaro 2SS/RS this past Saturday, took maybe 3 1/2 or so hours total for both. The video for the Camaro was spot on, Corvette IMO was off a bit concerning how to get the wires thru the grille but it wasn't a big deal at all really. Thanks to Jim at SCP for answering all my questions before and after the sale.

interesting product..

I can honestly say that I have driven lowered cars most of my life and never curbed the fascia, front lip, or wheels.. might have something to do with knowing my vehicles and having a relatively good ability to judge distance and depth..

however I think I will invest in a couple of these for my wife's and nieces vehicles seeing as both of them seem to have some sort of dysfunction when it comes to depth perception and distance approximation.. and use the curbs to determine when to stop.

do you have a generic kit for use in a Malibu and Camry?

Yep, there's a universal kit that fits any and every vehicle. I've seen it installed on both a Camry and a Malibu, even.

Hope this helps!

Thanks,
Matt

How are they mounted underneath? I would be afraid to have something "rip it off" ...so that would lead me to my second question - how do you go about mounting them behind the grill?

They bolt in place far enough back that you can't scrape..

I should get my lowering springs in by next week. So I'll definitely need this. I'll order before the end of the day
