I think the cones would be gone by noon. The cops over there have nothing better to do than drive around and pick on people. My friends and I once got told we would be arrested for revving our engines in the parking garage by those fools (which I would've loved to see happen actually...). I think we'll either have to find 6 or 8 spots in a group or go to the garage. Or go leave some cars up there earlier and switch them out later on.

This is sounding more and more like we just need to show up and pick some parking further away that aren't being used so that we can get a decent block of parking spots.

I tried calling a couple of theaters, left messages and never got any calls back.

What if we just picked a spot and agreed to park in the same location? What about the lot next to the Hilton next to the access road? That is away from some of the more congested parking, and I can't remember if this lot fills up. Anything near Barnes and Noble fills up, same thing near the parking garage.

I think we'll be able to find parking over there somewhere. I go to that theater a lot, even though it's a busy place I've never had a problem parking. A lot of times that parking area along the little road behind the theater is the last place to fill up. And I'll be on the end somewhere if y'all are worried about door dings because I already have a hundred hail dents so one more couldn't hurt!

I'm more worried about where we're gonna meet before the movie. Any ideas anyone?

That sounds like a perfect plan WhiteVert. We can meet at McAllisters at 5-5:30, leave there at 6:15-6:30 or so and go to Harkins and park. I plan on ordering my ticket earlier in that day, and my friend probably will as well. That should leave us plenty of time to get in and get seats hopefully. I don't really care where we sit as long as it isn't on the bottom section! Hope I'm not intruding on your thread Supaman! If that doesn't work for anyone just let us know!

Unfortunately I'm not going to make this one. I'm out on vaction till after July 4th.

I'll catch ya'll next time.

I might try to go to July's Rice Killer's drag racing at the Denton track. If anyone is intrested in trying your hand at drag racing this is the cheapest way to do it. It's free to watch and $10 to race.

I realized that 5:00 is gonna be pushing it for me. I forgot that I work till 5 Saturday, so I'll be taking a change of clothes with me and getting out of there at about 4:50, then heading straight to Southlake. It'll probably be way closer to 5:30 before I get to McAllister's. So I'm gonna be a little bit late to the dinner but we'll definitely be there in time to eat before the movie.

I wont. :-) As long as I get to go for a ride... I've never ridden in a Vette... Honestly though you can bring whatever you'd like, at least in my book a Chevy is a Chevy (plus there's a Vette in the movie too, though not the same one, but who cares)! The McAllisters we're meeting at is in a shopping center at the intersection of Highway 114 and Kimball. It's in the same shopping center as a Staples and what used to be a Circuit City but is now being turned into something else. Very easy to find. Hope to see you there!
