Darth Emma, you were mentioning at the beginning also maybe going with a hood. I'm curious to this part as I'm thinking the same thing for my maggie car: anybody have ideas/experience as to what would help more with hp between a heat extractor hood or a hood which directs air into the top of the air box?

I know you wanted a easy quick fix for lower the IAT, but the cooler I put on my car from RX that uses the A/C keeps my IATs at 60*F when just driving around and on a full throttle run (1/4 mile) never gets above 120*F and that ending temp is what you normally have at the start if it is 95-100*F ambient.
