What an incredible write up! Thank you so much for your story and for helping us all keep the faith. My last Camaro was totalled August 01 and I told my future husband that I would be getting a new one the day they returned. That day is finally here and I'm sure my day will be here soon. I am thrilled, chilled and excited beyond words. RJT 2LT/RS tan interior!!!!

Thank you for everything! I'm glad I'm in the company of people like you, not to mention that it's perfectly acceptible to cry about this car! I cried the day my hubby said yes to ordering it and today hearing all this news! Hope they come with a box of tissues!

Thanks Scott.
Plain and simple... thanks... My Camaro story begins with my father taking me to local cruise-ins. I was about 7 or 8, just wanted to play baseball no real interest in cars. But one Friday night something incredible caught my eye. She rolled in the lot, and the ground seemed to shake. She backed into her spot and I was staring eye to eye with her. Until the driver turned out the headlights and the hide-a-ways slide out and covered her eyes. "Dad what is that?!" "Son that is a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS/RS. When I was in high school those were everywhere". From that day on, I was a Chevy guy. It was always Dad and I in the Chevy section at the car shows. I think I was 11 when my father bought his wife a 1994 Camaro. Hunter Green, T-Tops, 5 speed. Sexy. I loved that car. When I graduated high school, I bought it. I drove that car everywhere. It was my life. But then one day in 2002 I traded it in on an SUV. I thought I needed 4 wheel drive. I did need it, but I missed that Chevy more than anything. I realized again in 2004 I needed a new muscle car, but Camaro was gone. I flirted with the idea of an 05 Mustang but I always told myself, NO! Chevrolet will answer back. They have to right? They're going to... Scott, Team Camaro, I never lost faith. And I never bought that damn Mustang! Thanks for answering back. And thanks for exceeding my dreams... ![]()
