confused as hell about 2012 colors and possible ZL1 colors?

Interesting point. Frankly, I've never really been a fan of red, but I get what you're saying about getting tired of repeating a color. (that was your point, yes?). Right now I'm driving a red Ford Fusion.
ANY color on the ZL1 will be an improvement.

Ok, Synergy Green was for the 2011 model year only orders started last week July first and runs out Dec of of this year and will no longer be an available after that.

Ahh that news letter was dated June 28th 2010 so it was July 2010 to Dec 2010 but then they extended like 4 more months beyond that into 2011. Ok makes sence now just the way you worded confused me thx.

It will be a ZL1, and it will be mine, in whatever color.

My implication is that they haven't officially announced that there won't be a special 45th anniversary ZL1 package, at least as far as I know.

It's possible. Call me an optimist or some other dirty name if you must.

Check with your area chevy dealers and see if they
have a pre order list going for the ZL1. Some will ask
for a small deposite to be on the list. Also Becky who
is a Chevy dealer and is a sponsor on the forums is
taking orders for the ZL1, and although I have never
used her she comes highly recommend By those who
have.

I'm not sure that being on a "waiting list" makes much sense until Chevrolet announces ZL1 dealer allocations, as one could find out that one was on a "list" with a dealer that has a small or no allocation, and would end up having to order through a different dealer anyway.
