The problem is in her area, there isn't much to choose from. I know the people at Hatfield and I'm not surprised. The only other Chevy dealer in Lexington isn't much better. I think Scotty is tapped out until Q4.

Nice color choices though...Sounds like a true "Big Blue" fan, Blue with White stripes. Even though we're in the NIT, GO CATS!

Well if you want to get it from another dealer and have it drop shipped to a dealer near your let me know and I will give you my dealer's info. He had an original allocation of 7 and has sold 4 so there are 3 spots left. Oh, and he will sell it at MSRP as well.

Yeah, those are some scumbags....and that's putting it nicely. After all of your business and they treat you that way. That's a truckload of. Times like these is no time to be greedy and that's exactly what they are. That dealer is sooo short-sighted when it comes to making money b/c if you keep making this public it should have an effect on their sales to others. I mean how many of us would go to this dealer....for anything after hearing this kind of They don't seem to think about that , they are only interested in making a quick rip-off from a few people.

You can catch more flies with honey than you can with vinegar!

I was at my dealer yesterday (3/17) and they have no idea about pricing or much else. They have promised me GMS pricing and said yesterday as well that GM has yet to offer it. Talk about ignorance...

Wow, I don't know why you would trust anything they say. I would not do business with GM again if this happened to me. IMO GM is responsible for the conduct of their dealers. They must have some type of leverage over them. I swear I would write GM off for the rest of my life if this happened to me. unfu*kingbelievable.

I agree, GM should be held responsible for the conduct of its dealers underneath. Especially if this is mentioned to their complaint office that Camaro Scotty provided in the post above.

If they don't know what the price is as of this date, they are either stupider than a politician, or they are setting you up for a major jack in price. Tell them to go to chevy.com\camaro to get the price. If they're too lazy to do that, build your own at the site, take it down to them and have them promise that they honor that price in writing!

Ok, I just talked to GM Customer Service and I didn't receive a whole lot of help. I told them exactly what happened and that the first car I am not getting. She was able to verify that my 2nd order is in the system but there is not TPW available for it yet. I tried. I even had her check to see if I could transfer my order to another dealer but I had no luck there either. I hope no else has to experience what I have had to go thru to get my car.

I have called other dealers in the area before I went back and placed my 2nd order. All of the dealers in my area are charging over MSRP and no one could tell me for sure what kind of trade in they would allow me for my vette. It would be alittle different if I was buying outright. Most of the dealers said between 1,500 - 3,000 over but they weren't sure. That is why I decided to stay put. They are allowing me 27 for my vette and going 1,200 over. Right now I just want to keep peace until I can get them to give me something in writing. I'm going to try tomorrow to get this. Believe me after I get my car I will not step back in there again!
