I don't see where you're coming from vis a vis interior though.

Challenger interior is a bit plain but that said it's clean, functional, and aof good quality. Looks classy but not very fancy.

Camaro interior has some awful cues that ruing the execution.

Haha that is a photoshop I made months ago on these boards...sweet!

Well I respect and like all the muscle cars. I sure am not afraid of any SS pulling up next to me...I know if I choose to drag race its gonna be a race,I dont think that you will leave me in the dust like I would leave a V6 Camaro, LOL. I mean its not like you are driving a new Vette or Nissan GTR, you could actually lose

Now IMO the Challenger is top of the class because you get the most multi tasking muscle car out there, see the following:

1)You can seat 5 in relative comfort (Try that with the Camaro or Mustang, those back seats are useless.)

2)You actually get a large trunk to store the kills from the muscle car wars (Some of you SS guys will be in there, trust me on that)

3)You get a nice ride that wont rattle your teeth (I know it wont be the best track car but muscle cars go straight buddy)

4)You get a classy interior with good materials ( I know its not sporty but it not cheap looking)

5)The car is just drop dead gorgeous (cant drive this car without getting attention, its crazy)

6)Lifetime powertrain warranty (thats just unheard of)

7)You get that Hemi that can make you feel confident that you can give any Mustang or Camaro a run for their money if you choose to do that sort of thing.

8)You wont see one on every corner

I love all the muscle cars...let the war begin

The second link is retarded.
Car Type: LS3, Headers, Cam, Tune, Intake

This is no stock block by any means.

At least try to compare apples to apples. 5.7 Hemi got new cam and cylinder heads for '09, so the increase is real.
you can't read?
'The team over at LG Motorsports got their hands on a couple of the first 2008 Chevrolet Corvettes with the new LS3 engines and put them right on the dyno for some real world horsepower and torque numbers. With less than 30 miles on clock, the first results came in on the car equipped with the 6 speed automatic transmission. It put down an impressive 370.8 horsepower and 363.8 pounds of torque to the rear wheels.

Next up was the car with the 6 speed manual transmission. The manual transmission was more efficient and put down 389.5 horsepower and 377.4 pounds of torque. These are very impressive numbers from both cars, easily beating Chevrolet’s published numbers of 430HP and 424 pounds of torque. Using a conservative drivetrain loss of 17-18%, these cars are pushing over 450 horsepower.'

this is stock my friend.

'UPDATE: LG put added longtube headers, performance cam, ported intake, K&N aircharger cold air intake, under drive pulley and a custom tune to one of the cars and added over 100HP to the wheels. The car now prodcues 506.7 HP and 457.1 tq'

this is with aftermarket....

Well if the reported numbers are right for the SS that should happen in a quarter mile race, but drivers make a big diff....I will let you know when I go up against one.

I'll tell you what. Your big bad HEMI will most certainly leave a V6 Camaro in the dust. Good for you. Yes, there will be plenty of Mustang GT's for you to devour. Again, good for you. However, if you pull up at a light with an SS, and you think you are on even footing, you are sorely mistaken. If it is an automatic Camaro, go ahead and kiss all your pride goodbye. He is going to beat you, no matter how well you drive. If it is a manual Camaro, then you better cross your fingers and pray to your HEMI god that he misses a shift. Otherwise, he is going to beat you worse, and the only thing you will have to brag about is your number of spark plugs.

The R/T Challenger is a better car, I believe, than the SRT-8 as far as price is concerned. Until you start modifying your car, however, be fully prepared to take the numerous defeats you can, and undoubtedly will, suffer at the hands of SS Camaros you thought you could hang with.

This kind of stuff cracks me up. 0-60s on both cars are very close. Ignore the rags, look at what the real world folks are doing. 4.7 4.8 0-60s for Challenger RTs.

I'm not out for street racing. I'm out for enjoying some American muscle. I'm also in to rare things. The Challenger is a real head turner. While the Camaro is nice, I doubt it'll get the attention the Challenger does.
