I completely understand where you are coming from, personally I think it looks like crap also.

I think what most people are trying to say, is that we have absolutely no idea if this is a design flaw, or something that missed final inspection and will be taken care of later.

Due to all the delays on this car I'm sure that getting the ball rolling was kind of important, that does not excuse the mis-alignment... but I have more faith than that in the people who do this for a living. So although I COMPLETELY agree with you, I will also reserve judgement until I see more pics. We really can't jump to conclusions based on the pictures of ONE car.

Really? Like the ABL issue, we kept the faith there and look what they gave us.

we have first, third and 4th gen Camaros and none of them have any alignment issues in the interior.

it really is kind of baffling, but you're not going to get any kind of closure by asking Fbodfather something like this... perhaps you should have asked 80Zedder or one of the others that works at the Oshawa plant... since they work at the facility, they are going to be the first to get over to where the problem **might** be and get some resolution to it... otherwise, it has to go through who knows how many levels of command before it gets to the part of the plant that can fix something like this.

this really makes me glad that we decided to get a 2012 Anniversary Edition instead of the first run

Hmmm... wow. Ok.

First that is a really bad looking photo, my heart broke a little. I can not believe that they could let that happen on the first car, with all the media.

I get how the early build could have some issues but come on, if that really is the mis-alignment... I'm ashamed that they let that happen.

On the flip side, could have been a bad angle (I'm trying real hard to come up with something).. I'll wait to hear what the word is on this from higher ups.
For now, the Mustang and other car fan boys are gonna have a field day with this photo. Talk about a kick to the balls this morning.

I've seen other photos where they looked fine but I can't shake that image of the door panel from my mind right now. I'm gonna wait to see the fireball that's going to explode on this today and see what I read later tonight about this.

Throughout this whole time, every picture taken, every slight mistake addressed, every single detail analyzed, this is the first time the panel alignment has been an issue. I think we just need to sit back and chill out. IMO one car does not account for every car. No matter whos car it is. But I'm not the final say so it's whatever to me really haha

I am not hating nor do I. My goal here is to keep GM honest and push them to excellence, if we don't they will rest on there laurels and look were that got them...ps thecalvary no this is not the first alignment issue this was addressed in pre production with a promise to fix...and well here is the production it doesnt look fixed does it?

This is still bugging me Arc, your not the only one. You would expect this on a 25 y/0 car after a coulpe accidents or something. I hope that as the Vin #s rise this prob is fixed, but as you said this is the #1 vin and Ricks Car! pretty big deal right.

I can see it at Barrett jacskon in 25 years. Here we have the Vin #1 car with the misaligned door panels that only came on the first 500 camaros.

If so I hope Im anything after vin # 500.

Mainly praying that its a really bad pic, but it hard to believe

I thought the delay was supposed to address these "quality" issues. Since the owner/operator will see the dash/interior the majority of the time you'd think GM would have paid EXTRA SPECIAL attention to the Interior fit and finish. Shame on them for releasing this vehicle as a finished product.

There is NO EXCUSE so let's no make them. If this is GM quality maybe they really do deserve to fail.
