One more thing. I know that when I confront him later about it with the facility manager, he is going to say that it's impossible and proceed to open his door to show that it couldn't have been him from the angle. The problem is that we don't park in the same EXACTING spot to the very inch every day but the height of the damage matches perfectly. By the way, the area on my car that was damage is very high up on the door. A regular car would ding lower on the door. This damage is almost all the way up to the rubber molding. It's obviously a SUV. I'm prepared to eat this one myself, but I'm also prepared to expose this douche nozzle if he pushes back.

Ok guys, it appears that yesterday he went to eat lunch with 4 other passengers. This is what I was told by the facility manager yesterday. Hopefully when I see the video, I would know which passenger it was.

Another bad thing is that I can't install the coilover set that I just bought until this is resolved. Doh!

The thing is - he might not have been the one to actually DO the damange (one of his passengers obviously) but after he heard that you thought it was him, he should have been and adult and said he didn't do anything, but hey I had other people in my car, let me ask them. And also checked his own car. He might not care about the damage on his car -- but being respectful of YOUR property is still something he should have done.
He probably didn't THINK about the timing or that a passenger hit your car - but that doesn't mean he needs to jump on the "sue" wagon and be a dick right off the bat. Granted, none of his cohorts would probably fess up - but I'm sure he could have told you who was sitting on that side of the car and been helpful. Even though it was his vehicle, it doesn't mean the asswad that smacked your car shouldn't pay for the damage. |

Isnt that Merc easily 20k more than our camaros? Shoot, If I were him Id be just as pissed if one of his passengars hit your car with his door. I would have made that passengar fess up to it and pay for both.

Easy for you to say. Why should I have to shell out $300 bucks to have a shop do the repairs when I wasn't at fault here. That's a lot of freaking money. And it's not just a "airbrushing". It's all the way down to the metal. |
