I got the Lloyd's mats and I am very happy with them. They are pricey but very good quality. Not driving mine in winter so I can't help you there. I am thinking about getting Weathertech mats for my Silverado for the winter I hear they are top quality as well

Nothing wrong with spoiling her! Probably just the beginning of a string of presents for her.

I have the GM mats. Great quality and fit. If these ever wear out, I'd get them again without even shopping around.

I got white embroidery as it matched the SS stitching on the headrests.

Had Lloyds in my SRT10, good fit and finish, the stitching was quality. One got dirty and I was able to clean it as good as new with a shampooing carpet cleaner vacuum.

Have the LLoyd Luxe ones here and I am very happy with the fit and quality of them. Not cheap, but I did'nt mind paying for the extra thickness and quality.

I would go with the top one's. (GM). The bottom ones look like they lack quality and if you can see on the bottom left mat, it looks like it is tearing. I dont know how the inside of you car looks like, but if you got the inferno orange interior, the interior matches more of a rich red instead of an orange. GO with the top ones.

I have the Lloyds mats and they are great very high quality and anchored etc. I pull them in the winter and use the factory GM mats that came in the car.

That said just remember if your car is a daily driver its hard to keep the Lloyds mats from getting worn where you rest your right foot. My car has over 30K miles and while the carpet didn't wear through it gets matted down. They still look good, and clean up fine, and from 10 feet you can't see it, but just wanted to let you know they won't look show quality of you use them regularly.

I had a set on my 99 TA and 00 Vette as well and had the same issue and I actually used those year round. That said the carpet NEVER wore through, just got matted down, so I have to give them props for that.

Yeah good point...this car will be my daily driver. My current car I didn't get the rubber mats and I wore a hole right through the floor mat (and dirtied the floor...ugh)...I've vowed to never let that happen again.

I've had the same problem with my mats wearing away where the heel rests. Lloyds makes some nice products, but I use the 5TH Avenue mat from a brand new company called Posh Pile. They fit great, are extremely thick, and have a woven nylon heel pad to prevent the mat from wearing. www.poshpile.com

Heres a photos in a 2011 Camaro

Weather Tech Floor trays FTW. My carpet looks brand spankin new. The texture of them matches the plastic around the doors and on the transmission tunnel. Little floor trays for the rear seats are included.

I went with Weathertech mats, front and back. Fit and finish are amazing. I like the extra protection these offer. But if you want looks, I vote, Lloyd's.

And the Lloyd's ones:

Now if I get the Lloyd's mats - I'd probably get that red trim as well.

I also live in New England so I need to pick up some rubber mats for the bad weather. The GM ones (while lesser quality I'm told) look like they might be suited better for the winter. Do you think I could get away with just these? Or still get rubber mats?

Or should I go with the Lloyd's mats and get rubber ones? Ahhhhh so many decisions.

Thanks for your help!

I have the top ones from the factory I love them they would still be my choice of the two even though the others are nice too
