It's looking good...... I was looking at your fire ring it looks like someone worked on a pipeline......
We're just finishing up survey work for a 36" pipeline that was just installed and there are quite a few of those lying around here......

Gilmour! You made it back over to to the original forum!
Yep, you can hide Gtahvit's garage in there.

But....I think yours would fit really nicely in mine by about the same margin.

Cool build Buddy!

LOL....So True!
I went thru one that was over 30,000 sq. ft., the most amazing part was the cars this guy had. Everything from Chevy to Lambo, truely spectacular collection.
Chris you are welcome at my place anytime!

September work... delayed a bit... need workers!

We started sheeting a little bit... it went up pretty quick... I like doing this more than the carriers. Nails for carriers were galvanized 40D 5 1/2" ringshanks!

Trusses came on Thursday, they are biiiig. They weigh 420lbs each, not including the piggybacks.

As you can see the truck dropped them a little off of the mark, but we were able to get them stacked back into place. Now we just need to wait until we can rent a skytrack and get enough hands to help us put them up.
In one pic you can see the size of the bonus room. That space, even though it may not look like it, is 8ft x 22ft

well,.... we have been delayed putting up the Trusses due to lack of help. These are pretty large and from what I hear, hard to handle. With us doing this project ourself, we need to wait until we can get the right people to help direct us. Hopefully next weekend they will go up.

So... since we had some time on our hands... we trimmed up some of the tress that we left standing, we raised the ceiling of of the back yard to about 20ft or so.

Then had to haul away a few more trailer fulls of brush...
Dad decided use the old International to push the trailer to the brush dump

And... here was a costly mistake...

we took down all those trees a few months ago, but we left one 80ft Red Oak that sat on the property line... who knows why... I think we were just too tired and convinced ourselves it was ok where it was.

Well... after further inspection and seeing how TALL my place is actually going to be, we decided that this tree neeeeeds to come down. WELL... now my building is 8ft from it and already 12ft in the air. So it was a project that we could no longer handle. We had a local guy come out and bid to take it down. It was definitely sticker shock when I heard the number... but I think it was a fair price and had to be done.

QUESTION TO THOSE THAT KNOW

Does anyone know how much I can sell this Red Oak for?

It would probably go for more if I cut and split it into manageable pieces correct,
so, any rough price range for split and as is?

how do you sell it, by the Cord, or by the truck bed full? I have no idea. hahaha

can i put an add on craigslist.
