ATTN: anyone needing a hotel room...I have found a hotel not too far from the convention center (not downtown, but only about 3 miles away) for an awesome rate! PM me for info...

I will, most likely, be wearing either my white Camaro SS polo shirt or my black Camaro Z28 polo shirt

Anyone know what colors the camaros will be? I'm really looking forward to seeing the IOM in person. Is there a way of finding this information out?

The car is going to sell very well in Texas. I probably won't go to the show, simply because I can't afford the car new so I don't want to do something crazy like get "the fever". Not yet...

But I tell everyone I know about it so I think this word of mouth and just traditional Camaro stomping grounds should help strong sales in Republic of Texas.

I bet Fbod's gonna have to run out and buy some jeans. It would be wise. We don't trust folks in dressy tie-ladden stuff...specially in Austin. Hell, I'm a 'professional' working in a pharmacy and I haven't worn anything but jeans for years.

All joking aside, thank you very much for allowing us to participate in this event. I'm thrilled to get a glimpse of the car I will soon own!

Lunch at Fuddruckers would be cool. Seen car groups congregate there before.

I might go.. who wants a guest?

Yea Austin can get Crazy. We will have to take them out on the town and bar hop on 6th street. BTW DO NOT drink anything green and with a plastic hand grenade on it.

I normally only go to Austin nowdays for game developer conventions. Bunch of drunk geeks is buckwild.

Hey, gang! There's still room for anyone wanting to join us. We may get together for lunch mid-day after the show. We'll just keep it casual so look for myself, SilverTurtle or KyleGilmour at the show and we'll just play it by ear. The weather is looking questionable for an outdoor lunch and we'll have to see how many are interested so we can make a decision on where to go.

Everyone that is attending...PLEASE READ

The "North flat lot" that they refer to as parking is actually a parking garage now. We have a call into Scott to make sure that is where we are supposed to park and that there will be no fee. The entrance is on 5th street between Red River & the access road of 35. I did not actually go in the garage to see if it's lowered car friendly, but I can't imagine that it won't be. There are quite a few metered spots in the area as well if you would prefer doing that instead...they do not charge for the meters on the weekends.

If you are coming from 35:
take the 6th street exit and head West on 6th street
turn left (South) on Red River
turn left (East) on 5th Street and the entrance to the garage will be on your right (See picture below)

The actual entrance to the convention center faces 4th street and appears to be between Red River & Neches.
