So your car was built the 2nd day of production..thats pretty cool. And if yours arrives in about 15 days that will be very close to 5 weeks, sounds about right.

Thoughts and prayers for your daughter!!

Took less than one week for my Corvette; Bowling Green, Kentucky to Atlanta. There may be something that delays it at the US border, but I don't understand why cars are not already at dealers. And I can't see how it's to GM's advantage to intentionally delay anything on this car.

Oh well, this thread will be long forgotten in a week or so (or whenever).

5 weeks from build to delivery is screwy! Something isn't sounding quite right? IMO cars must purposely be on hold somewhere. I can get product loaded onto a container ship in China and delivered to a warehouse in Arkansas in less than 5 weeks!

If you think about it GM is doing us all a favor in terms of satisfaction. Its been eight years since the last camaro so its got to be as flawless of a car as possible. If they kicked cars out the door as fast as possible and didnt take the time to pay attention to deatail and they did have a large number of cars with issues there would be alot of people very upset and lose some Camaro customers. no one on this site im sure, but someone that may be new to camaro or GM and would lose all faith and never come back.

I don't think anyones gonna have to wait till October.......my bet is by June/July most everyone will have theirs if they preordered. and if you are ordering now or later it should be Augest/Sept.

Cars are shipped to their staging areas. The inspections and checks are over. They would not continue to build cars if they were still conducting checks. Who told Scott 15 more days.? I do not disbelieve that because that is in line with the national May 6th reveal day. We all want to own the car and this process that we are going through now with GM and their calculated and minipulative delivery time schedule is part of the package. I thought someone might take delivery on 4/15. But if what Scott was told is true then...

Was a GM employee looking at shipping guidelines for the status I am at.

I have to becarefull not to get folks in trouble. There are a ton of GM people writing me about the car. They all know about Steph.
