Ok everyone this just in direct from Derek Dawson at Alpine:
Kit (includes steering wheel interface) MSRP $400
Onstar module interface (he highly recommended getting as to not disable safty features) MSRP $150
As for the heated seat controls, they are integrated into the new climate control touch panel.
And the kit does not interfere or block any view of the 4 pack gauges.

Does anyone know if this will be compatible with the Blustar unit instead of onstar?

To the best of my knowledge, neither kit integrates into the stock BT.

Most of the D'DIN radios you'd be likely to put in the car would have their own BT (at least the phone part, not always the streaming), though.

If it's gonna cost $550, I vote don't even manufacture it. Just scrap it. The metra kit is good enough.

Metra kit very ugly

Plus the $400 includes steering wheels controls.. the $150 is if you want to keep OnStar stuff..
So really take all that out and its probably $350. Metra doesnt offer all that. This has a nice looking LCD screen for climate control

You do know you can get this plain jane like the metra kit. You dont have to get all the bells and whistle. It is not $550. Please read before jumping to conclusions.
It is $400 if you want it with steering wheels controls they said so without steering wheel controls it would be cheaper.
$550 is for on star connectivity. Metra does not offer this stuff hence why it is just simple thing with just a bunch of calculator buttons for $300
