For the record, I personally think the MPD spoiler looks like shit. That's why I bought the Havoc, and that's why this thread is about the Havoc. If you like your MPD....well, good for you. Have a cookie.
I'm with you I'd only put the Havoc on my vehicle, if it doesn't fit I'll wait until v2, v3.... I feel bad for the guys that were the guinea pigs, and or paint shops screwed up, but I'd never put an MPD on my car. I'll just stay stock then.

I bought the Havoc spoiler from Carid and it fits perfect right out of the box ,I had it painted and installed at the body shop and like the other guy when I wash the car the water puddles on the trunk from a tight fit .

Feeling a little less nervous since I got mine from CARiD as well. Will keep you posted when I pick her back up on Friday.

How long ago did you order your spoiler?

If there's a new version out, those of us with the first version should band together and get some kind of satisfaction from IVS. I'm certainly not looking for a handout, but I don't think we should have to pay full price to 'upgrade'. If IVS is indeed making a 'version 2.0' then that's basically admitting that the first design was flawed despite Adam's attempts to blame everyone's body shop.

Personally, I would have had my credit card company do a chargeback and would then have thrown the piece of crap in the trash.

I don't know if Josh Greenawalt from RPI ing me to make a sale, but I was very specific in saying there is a lot of feedback there are issues with the Havoc spoiler and were there plans to resolve with a v2.

Exact response:
"Yes, the version 2 is in stock now. We are currently selling them, they are good to go."

Followed up with an email to IVS which btw has not responded. Which tells me something is going on that's not quite right. I will call IVS shortly.

I've had mine since the middle of summer last year. I ordered it without knowing about these issues, which would've probably made me not buy it. When it came, I removed my factory spoiler and stuck the havoc on to see if it fit correctly and it did. Had a shop paint it and I installed it myself. I didn't like having to use the double sided adhesive tape and I was very worried it would come apart. I use to check it constantly, but after using it along with the adhesive promoter I've never had an issue with it. I love the spoiler and, like some have said already, it's the only one I like.

I had my striping changed and the place that put my new stripes on had to remove the spoiler. They put it back on with some cheap tape and didn't cover a hole used by the factory spoiler that the havoc doesn't use. So it was coming up and water got into my trunk from rain. I had to remove it and reinstall it myself a second time. Still no issues with a proper installation.

IVS's customer service is downright pitiful.

Yeah. I'm having doubts about this product. I really like the way it looks but if it was designed correctly they would provide a grommet or something for the hole, and customer service would be better. Sticking to stock lip spoiler for now. Sorry IVS, you just lost a sale.

Ok, got my Havoc Spoiler painted and installed and picked her up today. Here are a couple pics. I have to say I love it! And I wouldn't put any other spoiler on my car.

If you need another pic or angle, let me know. It aint perfect but its pretty damn close. OEM holes plus 3M tape.

Seems to me there may be a problem with some of the shops that are painting and baking these things using an incorrect process. That spoiler looks awesome.

Thanks bro! Ya I couldn't agree more. You need to find a reputable shop. My guy did say there were blisters on the spoiler when he received it but he modified it as needed (though I don't think it was anything big) and then painted it. He is pretty good at his job and obviously made it fit great on my Camaro! I had someone in an IOM Camaro come find me at Costco to tell me that that is the sickest spoiler he has seen for a Camaro...and I agree!

My shop is Sinful Enhancements in San Diego. Had to give them a shout out!

X's Two, I spoke with Gary's Custom's in Florida, and He says He cuts the temp back when drying the spoilers in the oven so they won't shrink, I'm buying one from Him painted............................. JRJ
