I used to go to a school in South Florida, FGCU, back when I had my 98 Explorer and it got egged once. Pretty sure it was becuase I had a huge UF sticker across the back window. They also broke my UF license plate frame in half. Bunch of retards. Don't think I ever got all the egg off of my car.
I now go to UCF and have to park my car in parking garage each day I commute. No door dings so far. *Fingers crossed*

Normally I would say yes, but given the size of the school I think no. I attend a small school (5,000) and most people know my car and know me. Therefore, nothing happens to it, and if it did I would know who did it. And that did happen once. At LSU, you'll never be able to feel comfortable leaving it. Also, you make have an assigned space that isn't an end spot or is too small. I always park in the same spot because it's wide and in the back. It's your choice, but it may be a risk.

Take your camaro. I took mine to GSU where I go to school now. I'm a freshman in a dorm and I've yet to have an issue. However, I conveniently park in an "overflow" lot that never fills up. I don't really have to worry about door dings. The only possible issue would be if someone messes with my car, which would piss me off SOOOOOOO bad!!! Seriously if someone keyed my camaro and I found out who did it, I would take an axe to their car.
But yeah, take your camaro! Somedays I come back from class and hop in just to blow off some steam!

Don't do it bro.
First of all you're not going to need your own car in college. It'll be more of a hassle than a convenience. And it WILL get damaged. Mysterious dents have a way of showing up after Friday nights, stuff gets poured on it etc. As a fellow college student, my advice is no. I miss mine, but I'd rather know he's safe at home.

I'm in my last year at Arizona. Parked on campus for two years now. Zero dents. Zero scratches. Apply for a garage parking permit before you move into the dorm.

Just finished my visit. Not impressed. Everything here felt dirty and very dated. Having been to Shreveport a few times I thought I knew what to expect. Parking looked nearly impossible.

If you could somehow get a private parking spot I'd say go for it! I took my Camaro to FSU and I pay to park in a lot right on campus.

I would forget about LSU and go to ALABAMA instead. Your car would be safe except for the weather being unpredictable in the spring and fall.
