I seem to remember just a few weeks ago everybody was excited about the Camaro. Now we have all this fighting and mudslinging. Boy this site has really gone downhill fast, even SCOTTY wants to bail and he was one of the best posters in here and a great help in ordering. Quit being spoiled brats and get over your Attention Deficit Disorder and think about what a huge process ordering a CUSTOM MADE vehicle that some have waited years for, not 7 months. Whew!!! I'm done for now.

I ordered my car like everyone else. So far, to my understanding, only one person has gotten their car....and that's because 350k can get that for you!

We are enthusiasts....and have been treated VERY well. We were given pictures a YEAR b before the car came out....given information here and there....tid bits...ALL, when GM employees are forbidden to talk about this unless authorized to do so!

We are fortunate to have been given the info we have.

We are MORE knowledgeable than our own dealers...

Why? Because we get info. from many facets right here on sites like these.

-----------------

What is it that you seek? Do you want to know when you are getting you car? As soon as it is finished.. 6 to 8 weeks... Has it been 6 to 8 weeks after beginning of production yet?! NOPE! No one owes us an explanation of why it takes 6 to 8 weeks. There's no one here making monthly payments on anything yet. No one here has paid cash for their car yet. GM IS making our car. GM HAS given us info.

Don't worry....GM has gone through a lot lately. They are building our cars. You and everyone else have seen hundreds of cars sitting in their plant lots.

They will be here. Just because you see them made but they haven't gotten here yet doesn't mean it's the end of the world.
My point exactly tag... Thank you...

This next month is going to try peoples patience, I know a lot of people understand that. Please everyone dont jump down peoples throats and dont assume the worst... It doesnt help.

We're all in this together remember... and you can say what you want about the people posting that have confirmed orders... but they are here too... because they love the car..

Well Spoken!

We all need a little patience! It takes to build and deliver 14,000+ cars. It doesn't happen over night.

I think GM basically needs to STFU. When they talk and pretty much with anyone, they F it all up.

STFU, concentrate your energies on building good product (which I think you are getting mostly right) and ship the product when its done and use traditional marketing practices which generally work well.

Let us motorheads run the hype machine, if the car is good, you have done your job. Don't try to get all fancy with national launches and movie premiers you guys suck at that. Build a good car, build a good car build a good car. In the end, that is what we want and that will leave 98% of completely satisfied and the other 2% are losers anyway and you don't want them back.

Is some one at GM aware of this site? A little information from the top distributed to this site (and others like it) would go a long way.

GM is not in the miracle business, just because they started production on March 16th does not mean that anybody should have their cars yet. It will take time to get all the wheels turning to have a constant supply of cars to feed the distibution chain. If the national unveiling day is May 6, I am confidant that at that point all the pieces will be in place for the cars to be orderded built and delivered in a resonable time even though the assembly line will still be playing catch up.

Thats just me throwing some ideas out there to try to get some other thoughts flowing.
