I live in Colorado as well and have been looking at every car on the street. Rarely see a Vette with a plate and I would say 1 out of 50 dont have em.
Law says you have to have one but what is the fine if you do get popped. I wont be parking mine downtown so the metermaid thing prob wont apply. I dont like to break the law but I really dont want to ruin the look of the front end either. What do you suggest?

Have you seen the visor. A plate would more than double it.

We have that stupid front Licence Plate law too in N.H. and that Swift hideaway plate holder looks like a good way to keep from drilling holes into the Camaro's facia!
The remote one at Summit looks good to but doesn't look like it completely hides the plate all the way? Maybe it's the way it's mounted on the Vette?

Anyone have it on there car yet and how do you like it?

I'm thinking about for mine using creating rubber gromets and u bolts along with a prefab lic plate holder. so I can mount it the lower grille like others have talked about.

Did you check that Show and Go works with a 2010 Camaro? I checked with Swift Motorsport and they said they are still working on the one for the Camaro because there is a small lip under the front bumper.

If you hear any new from Motorsport, IM me. I'm thinking about purchasing the one from Motorsport, since I live in Cali.

some one did suggest on an earlier thread that if it did rattle, you could get a small piece of foam and put it on the back so that the foam would touch, not the plastic.
i dont really see a problem with it rattling mainly because the wind will be pushing it toward the car, keeping it firm against the bumper, in theory at least.
Please post pics or video when you get it mounted. I'm pretty sure I'm ordering that too. Gotta make sure I get my car first!

Texas has the front and rear plate law. I've been driving Camaros since 1970 and have never had a front plate. I just carry it in the back mounted on the bracket - "gee it just fell off". I've been stopped 5 times in 40 yrs - no tickets. I'm not mounting a bracket on my new one either.

So I contacted a guy who makes no-drill brackets for other cars. He sent me a prototype this week. A few pics are posted below. It uses bolts and rubber bushings to attach to the lower grill and doesn't require any drilling or frankly much install effort at all.

I hope to try to fit it on a V6 next week and will take plenty of pictures for everyone. As soon as I can get my hands on a V8, I will get pictures of it also. The welds on the back of this bracket are rough so we can line up the bends, but they will be perfect on the production one. As soon as I have pictures and ordering information I will post all that up.

Any update on this? I keep driving around and waiting to be pulled over!! LOL!!
