Sorry to hear about the clutch but it sounded like it responded like it was supposed to later so I'm sure you'll be okay.

It's a good lesson for many to make sure to understand the functions of the features the car has.

Thanks for sharing and I'm sure everything's going to turn out okay. HEY - you might still have a warranty claim if you turn it in right away. I'd just chalk it up to trying the Comp. Launch Mode

Corvettes have this problem too.

From what I've read, the dealers say it's user clutch technique error.

Hope it gets fixed soon.

Good example to future camaro owners(not to pick on embalmer) but for the love of god atleast break the car in before you go hot rodding it. The clutch especially needs to be bedded and cycled before any hard driving.

Dumping a clutch will, in time, need to be replaced!
feathering.

However, I'm pretty sure there is no lasting damage...I might have glazed it but looks like with some easy driving - that will go away - which obviously I'm am going very easy on her now...

Also thanks for the link 2KZ28_For_Now - I'll make sure to get the clutch fluid looked at immediately and replaced if necessary.
I for one appreciate the info. You messed up and wanted to inform people not to make the same mistake. Thank You.
