Look you can point fingers and claim what ever you want about crappy paint jobs, and needing to redo the paint job. I cant vouch for the pics shown with the discrepency. It may have been the camara, the lighting, or some freak of nature. No one here really knows. I can however vouch for my pics. THERE WAS NO COLOR DISCREPENCY!!!! The colors matched perfectly from front facia to the rest of the car on all 40 cars. I was up close to all of them and there was not a single problem with the paint. People quit blowing out of hand and get over it. These cars will be perfect when delivered to you the buyer. They are not going to let them get to us jacked up. If all your going to do is post negativity, post somewhere else. The painting of the car is ok...

LOL if you don't take the car, some moron is gonna come right behind you and pay $3k over MSRP and take it for you. lol
Don't blow this out of proportion. That picture was horrible AND if it was a prepo and it is inferno orange METALLIC (key word). It'll be okay people, once again if you don't drive it off the lot someone will. If you don't like a color change there's already red, yellow, silver & black. DUh! lol

cars are like women, some are old, some are new, some get turned on easily some need a lot more help, some you just wanna drive into the river, some you can't wait to get inside of, some are expensive to maintain, some are low maintenance, however if you treat them right, you'll have her for the rest of your life.....

I double dog dare you to show me one of ANY color that matches spot on. You haven't been able to do this on the Vettes as far back as the C5 and you aren't getting it right now.

I hate when people marginalize the shortcomings and act like its NORMAL and we should just GET OVER IT.

Here is an idea, WHY DONT YOU PAINT IT CORRECTLY?

I have two dirt cheap body guys, either one could do a better job using YOUR PAINT CODES!

Hey Douge -- didn't you read any of the other posts. There isn't a problem with production cars. The production car paint looks as perfect as any mercedes. They didn't make any excuses -- they just asked not to be judged by they pre-production cars -- sheesh.

Wow way to ignore everything else in my post. The point is there was nothing wrong on the paint job of the 40 cars here in Dallas. What makes you think that yours will be? Everyone needs to stop blowing the b.s. out of hand.

It's not a problem. it's been on two cars out of a ton that were made. And a hundred IOM cars strolled through texas yesterday and none of them had this problem. Go to the home page if you don't believe me

There is no problem. Has anyone with a delivered car noticed a problem yet? Why would such a crappy photo even be discussed? It was only brought up to stir the pot.

People, come on. Some of you are freaking out over a poorly taken picture on a car that is most likely a pre-production car. I have seen the car in person several times (in several colors) and this was not an issue on any of them. So give it a rest until you see one in person.

Re-Paint

No problem. Just demand that the car be repainted at no additional cost.

Its simple really. How many thousands of Camaro pictures have rolled through this site? From CTF cars to pre-pro to delivered cars. 2 pics have what looks like a little discoloration. (Which on the RJT car the sides of the fender and fascia match perfectly which makes me believe the top was a reflection problem.) You find arguably the worst quality IOM pic in existence taken by some guy with his phone in the back of a dealership. Then you start a little hysteria and all the haters get to join in. Until a car is in a showroom or someones hands with mis-matched panels don't stir everything up for your amusement.

Honestly, if he didn't post it. Somebody else would have. I'm about 110% sure about that. I mean seriously. This is Camaro5.com! We will talk anything that involves this car. Good or bad. We have guys (and gals) every where. On all sorts of other forums looking up info. to keep us informed. Somebody would have posted it. It just so happens that Garagelogic was the first to find it. Take it easy on him. He is one of those that obviously likes this car just like the rest of us. Look at his post count if you don't believe me. That tells ya something...
