the only thing I can say about this car is it has a beautiful but ( Ill buy this for my ZL1 some day), But remember my camaro friends well see 10,000 videos in Youtuve of a english camaros being defeated by other cars that have not been "reduced" (european native cars), Note: this is also why the DMC-12 (The Delorean) got just 130 CV and it should have more than 200... s#$pid car import regulations
You won't hear it from me old chap. Sure there are faster European cars out there, BUT, try buying one for the price of a Camaro. A pretty basic BMW 3 series 2.0 costs about the same as my modest 2LT RS, but every suit with a few quid has one....boring... As far as I'm concerned, in the real (40-60 mph) world the Camaro is leagues ahead of the Euro competition in style, being pure automotive theatre.

When you said Brawn, I about dirtied my knickers

I thought you meant Ross Brawn of F1 fame was going to breathe on a Camaro here and in England. I would kill for a Brawn modded Camaro. That guy rocks.

Well worth the $100000.00. No the photos are not reversed

Lol....you paid $100,000 for a $35,000 car. Australia is really upside down. No offense, i just could never justify that. And/or would have waited tilt he RHD version was produced.

Yep, I used to live in England and they drive on the right side of the car, left side of the road. Also, their gas is ridiculously more expensive than ours. Last I was there was in 2004, and it was close to 3 us dollars per liter. Thank God for gas stations on base. They kept it reasonable for us military folks over there.
Their emissions standards were worse than ours, and they all required "safety inspections" that made it pretty ridiculous when it came to mods. I had a Toyota Tundra over there, and I had to have a fog light installed on the back of the truck before I could drive it there.
Current prices are $1.58 to one British pound also, so that makes for a pretty hefty price tag. Ouch!

It would have been over $100K if it was brand new. Definately. What you've got to remember is that the closest car to a Camaro in Australia would be an HSV GTS (same platform, LS3 etc), which will set you back anywhere from $80K - $100K on road anyway. Euro options in the same price bracket are entry level, if you want at least a 3.0TD Audi A5 or 335 BMW Coupe, you would have to fork out a little more again. Once you also factor in how rare Camaros are over here, it's actually a great option. Can't wait to get mine

It's tough to compare the Sterling Pound to the US Dollar. When I lived there it was a headache so I quite doing the conversion, it was scary at times...... But yes, it's pretty much how they do it, what is the USD here they mark as the Pound but remember I do believe with that advertised sale price is shipping, any conversions for lights & what ever else and their 17.5% tax rate. Still not cheap but it probably offers a warranty verses one a UK resident coming stateside, buying one and shipping it them selfs and being left with no warranty.

Strewth mate!! You guys get it rough. I just checked the UK rate against the Aussie $ and it was £1= 1.47Aus$, which still makes the Camaro over there expensive compared to us. I wouldn't be too stoked about forking out for a right hand drive conversion either. Of course if the average wage in Oz is 100 grand a year, relatively it's good. Like you say though being one of a few special blokes on the road in a Camaro is priceless.
