fbodfather is definitely correct on that. if you look at the crease along the top of the rear fender and the crease along the front fender as it goes to the leading edge they are VERY similiar.
The Camaro is the most modern and up to date of the retro designs. I almost hesitate to call it retro it so much more advanced than the Chally and Mustang.

Add the stripes and then send photos, the two together will be great either way though.

Actually when Paddock gets their ABM SS/RS w/ white stripes, we'll do a shoot with my 69 Camaro and my friends 3rd gen that is blue w/ white stripes

I'd like to get all 5 gens of the same combo together though. I'm working on it.

And it is an honor to have the Fbodfather chime in on my topic. Hope to see you at the Ontario Camaro Nationals this June.

I did think the 2010 would be a higher car, but it was pretty close in comparison to my 69. My 69 is pretty much at stock height except for the 2" drop springs in front and the big block dropping it down a slight bit more.
Nice looking 69! That color, though not stock as you said, in the pictures resembles 1969 Chevrolet Dusk Blue Metallic, which is lighter than IBM, but darker and more blue than ABM. I have a 69 Impala Convertible in Dusk Blue Metallic and a 69 Impala Sport coupe in Azure Turquiose Metallic. Guess these were close to the current Camaro colors. I had a hard time deciding between IBM and ABM but went with ABM.

.....seriously - if you walked into design studio during all the work over the past several years -- you'd see a large white paper on the wall -- a VERY LARGE white paper -- and on there you'd see the 'outline' of several cars from the side-view -- you'd also see wheelbases -- radiator support -- bumper height -- seat outlines -- legroom/headroom/hip room/etc outlines -- for several cars including:

>First gen Camaro
>4th gen Camaro
>current Mustang

........and you would realize that the 5th gen is very close to many of the measurements of the 1st gen (wider tho....)

I think that some people look at the car as much larger than it is -- and it has a lot to do with the high belt-line -- and low roof line --
I can see all of that but it came out to me a fresh looking design, it isnt a rehashed 69 Camaro, but it looks like a Camaro none the less,

I'd add the stripes.

To me stripes just make the car look faster.
thanks a lot I have been back and fourth for years on the stripes, the only thing that stops me is the kind of COPO look my car has, but matching Camaros would be sick,,
