So Gretchen...you have a fuel pump that works? And no, they know it is direct injection. They warned me that some people think they have solutions and good pumps that are already out, but that this one in development is legit and can really help. But you're saying you have one Gretchen? How has it worked out?

SC- after I get my car I'll pm you their number and email. What exactly are you wanting to do? They aren't producing this pump, they will just get me it.

What tracy will do is open the world of FI for the v6's! If we can somehow get a new pump that can keep up with the increase of boost means we can start making some real killer numbers. Im not going to lose hope, but hopefully we finally solved the little problem we have with the fueling issue. keyword.... hopefully.

So far I am running the stock pump and meth. I've lowered my boost back to 6 psi so I can just use the meth as a saftey feature. I'm hoping we can get the new heads that will allow us to connect two stock pumps to the cam and solve it for good, but keep us up to date on your project. If it pans out I think it would be a great solution for me because I already have the ported heads and the only reason I would switch to the newer heads would be to solve the fuel problem.

Thx dobbins,

To date we have not found a direct repalcement that can provide what is needed so we developed after market cylinder heads with an extra pump boss cast in so we can run 2 OEM pumps in parrallel, but a sinlge would be the key to keeping cost down as the systems we developed (turbo and SC) are all over built as far as boost potential.

So if a pump is truely available we would like to know where to source them. Hitachi supposedly has one, but no one seems to be able to identify the part# so all need a solution that is more affordable than our stand alone system (adds $1500-$1600 to the cost) to provide the extra pressure needed.

lets say we get the fueling issue resolved, would the motor be able to handle 500rwhp or will we need new pistons, rods etc?

sound to me like the pistons and rods will be good. its the crank we have to worry about, they think it will handle like 600 to the fly, so 500 WRHP does not seem out of the question.
