sunroof is very nice. I don't have one in my camaro, but I've had them in other cars. just be warned that your lose and inch or two of headroom. and the camaro doesn't have much to spare to begin with.

but at the end of the day, nothing beats cruising down the road in spring or fall when the weather is 70-80 and sunny with both windows down and the sun roof open.

No sunroof= no car. I got an aftermarket, inside slider for my reverse mohawk. Looks great works great and quiet. Not a rattle. Lost less than an inch of headroom. I was going to get a convertible, but after seeking the problems Camaro ragtop owners are having, stuck with my sunroof. When I want a convertible, I take out my motorcycle. Besides, 75 mpg in a unltimate convertible is pretty good right now!

I bought used and it just happened to have a sunroof. Really glad it came with it & wouldn't want one without it now.

PROS:

Added light
Added ventilation
Smoother roof line
Feeling of openness

CONS:

Reduced light
Reduced ventilation
Ugly "mohawk" roof line
Reduced headroom (some say?)
Noisey at highway speeds (open)

I personally like the looks of them and wouldn't have a vehicle without one.

I've had one 2011 with and without. After having my 2ss/rs now with, I wouldn't get another without one. I love the sunroof and so does my wife.

Sunroof is sweet on nice weather days!! However I've owned a few cars now that had them. All of those cars after a few years began leak (some worse than others). Just a note tho the cars I'm speaking of aren't Chevrolet cars. My latest leaky roof is on my 06 Chrysler 300 with a sunroof that seeps in the rain and melting snow, not to mention its loud. If your car is driven in rain and snow then you may decide against it.....just a thought.

if your talking power sunroof that fully retracts, then you loose about 2 inches. I guess if your just talking about the kind that props up a couple inches , or that you remove completly and put in the trunk then no, you wouldn't loose any.

+1 for the sunroof. I love mine. No problems at all. Also a nice alternative if the vert is out of your price range and you love going windows down.

It depends.

I had a sunroof for over a decade. I didn't open it much but it was really nice to see the sky come through.

Mine never leaked but the directly but water did get inside the roof and dripped at the ends if it was left partially opened when it rained.

Since the camaro is pretty cramped, it wouldn't be bad.

Picked up my new Camaro today with sunroof as ordered. If you are over 6'3 you may have headroom problems. I'm 6'1 and fit with an inch or two leftover. I love it. Its quiet while driving and vents nicely
