Most people just dont know how to run that fast in a stock car... thats why you see so many guys running mid to low 13s in almost all of them! these threads are pretty pointless, all it takes is a good tree in a heads up race and anyone of them can go down.

Just at the C5 fest I was cutting .02-6 lights all friday and was betting faster cars because of it. My manual trans racing skills are lacking but I do ok, I seen a couple bolton cars running 14s... does it really matter if your SS is a tenth faster then a srt8 if you cant drive anyway... or that the SS is a tenth slower then some guys 5.0, these cars run so close together its all on the driver.
All very true.

I've seen a local guy in a bright blue 06-08 charger with nitrous and a blower and full exhaust that was only laying down 11.9s. But it sure was making a wonderful noise doing it. I'm pretty sure even I could have beat that guy when his car was stock...

push comes to shove when you are talking a 1/2 sec difference it is a driver's race. So many variables.

The older SRT8s are still a bit quicker than the current RTs (minus the mopar 11 which should be neck and neck ) and I have seen the new RTs beating guys in the SS at the track. There is a 2011 RT AWD that is running 13.2s. Norm? Not really but the guy can drive. Now put him up against a good driver of a SS and he loses or someone that doesn't know how to drive and he wins.

Race ya for pinks! (at the track)

R/T's are a joke and an embarrassment to Mopar.

unless you have more mods than me, i cant see pulling one with ease, maybe it depends on your definition of "ease" as well...
