This.

And for the 5,000th time-- that is the EVOS, and design cues will be taken from it for the Mustang, but that is NOT the Mustang.

First thing came to my mind was Jaguar or Aston Martin.

I really don't understand what's wrong with looking somewhat like an Aston Martin. They're one hot looking car and so is the Evos. I highly doubt that this is the new mustang though.

Face it. For all you haters, if it has anything to do with a mustang you will always hate it no matter what it looks or performs like.

Yep, Aston Martin.

I don't care for it, but I know if I was in that segment I'd have NO problem paying $35k for a $200k design, kwim?

Hater? No. DGAF yes (don't give a flip).

Off now to the Harley forum to read about Kawasaki's.

Camaro is one hot looking car too but would you want the mustang to come out looking like a Camaro?

Personally I love Aston Martins and Jags but It wouldn't be the same. Sure the car would be beautiful but it still would be no aston. Now if they make one that is AWD and is able to put 400 to the wheels I would be all over it. IMO beauty with out performance is a waste.... at least with cars

I agree

Just cars huh? Because the way I hear it, most guys would rather have an ok-looking woman who could really perform as opposed to a super hot chick who just lays there...

Well even non performance vehicles move a little.. we don't want the equivalent of a prius... sure technically they have great endurance but they take a long minutes to get where we want them and they pester us constantly when we do. the larger tank with more power is more desirable. Same applies to ladies...

Anyone remember the Mustang II?

Those who do not learn their history are doomed to repeat it...
Actually the Mustang II took its styling cues from the first generation as did the current gen. This concept aligns the car with a global brand and as a car guy, Mustang owner and Aston Martin fan I say it's not too bad at all. Better than some of the muscle-bound styling concepts I've seen. The original Mustang was inspired by European cars so this isn't a bad direction. The Mustang as a musclecar should come down to the motor not the look.
