It's amazing how much power we have on this forum. We cause an OEM change because we didn't like the way a stripe looked :p

That's what I'm talking about!! The stripe change was the result of our collective opinions and even though my car was built almost 3 months ago and is finally in my city as of last night, I'm glad Chevrolet did it right. That new material they sent to the stripe company really pops on the AGM. At least we have a good story to tell of the plight of the "Gray Stripe Club." VIN #0004 come on home baby!!

Another guy posted good pics of his car with the revised grey stripe in the sun. It looks awesome. No doubt in my mind now. Here is the link to the thread and scroll down a bit til you see the red car. I really dig the metallic in the stripe

After seeing good pics of it, I will go as far as to say that this will be a blessing in disguise for me. Had my car gone through and got built with the black insert and stripe and I wouldnt have liked it as much as the ECF insert and grey stripe combo. It looks that good IMO

Yes I am still waiting. The car arrived to the local railyard and was unloaded but now they are telling me might be another week before the car is delivered to my dealer - you know, "we are at the mercy of the union drivers" which I think is BS. I'm working with them to bring all 5 generations of my Camaros to their dealership car show on May 5th and right now, I'm not feeling a lotta love from them. ZLDave: I had the same problem with #468 - I instead got the E-C-F hood - NO stripe package and it looks great - very happy with my decision
