Can't wait to see this beast at C5fest!
Vince, I really hope to see you do a cam and SC install. A fellow in our club did his own SC install and it worked out wonderfully! He saved thousands on labor too, just as you did installing all the above parts! P.S.: Have you considered doing lowering springs and sway bars?

I really didn't want to lower the car. I like the stance as is. Just changing all the bushings, toe rods and trailing arms has made a huge difference in the way the car handles all the mountain roads here. I will get around to sub-frame connecters and lower control arms later on, but for now, I am really pleased with the car.
They make a kit to add camber/caster adjustments to the front end and that is probably my next mod. The car cant be adjusted now as is. They put bosses in for camber but didnt slot the area for the eccentric. Same for caster. The threaded section is there, but no adjusting bolt. That same kit also includes larger (heavier) bolts with more adjustment for the rear end. The stock eccentrics in the rear are limited at best.... The S/C and cam will be next year, although I may just go with a N/A cam and under-drive pulley this year just to get it around 480rwhp. I may not be able to get to Fest this year as my son just came back home broke after 14 years of marriage. He needs me more now than Fest does..... Maybe next year...

I didn't know the bushings, toe rods, and trailing arms would make that big of a difference! Glad to hear it though.
And I hear you on not making it to C5fest. Family always comes first, even over the camaro.

bushings
I used all BMR on mine but this video should show you the difference the bushings make.... They have thier toe rods and lower control arms in this video... and I did all of the rear bushing... differential, upper control arm, outer rear trailing arms, sub frame (cradle), toe rods and lower rear trailing arms and I did them all by myself (literally) in my garage....

The bushings made it ride a little bit stiffer, but nothing like I was told it was going to be. I just took it on a 1500 mile round trip on all kinds of roads. The ride was fine and the noise from the rear that everyone told me would happen was nonexistent. No whining or howling from the gears. The difference in the way it handles was well worth any ride quality I may have given up. Given the choice, I would do the same mods again in a heartbeat.....

Really nice thread, I guess I shouldn't take for granted that Summit Racing is 2 miles from my house!

Nice build. I think a PTB is going to move it's way up on my list.
