Good plan. Hope that takes care of it.

I"m trying to find them locally before I call Becky or Maurine.

None of the dealers have them in stock. One guy told me to call a clutch shop but the one he told me to call is out of business.

Shoot, if you call Maureen, they'll be at your door on Monday. I quit going to the dealer for parts (well, some parts) and call Maureen. She fixed me up a few time! I waited two weeks once for some retainers I needed on the Corvette I had. Maureen gets me a bezel for the ZL1 front end when the parts were on constraint AND shipped them to Florida for me. Awesome!

Maurine will fix you up as quick as anyone...

You need a list of ALL TSBs... if they are out there your car will need it...

OH no doubt. I called them for the parts for my car AND Bonnies Vette If it has to come from a dealer and I don't have to have it day of, I always call them.

In this case I'm going to try and find one at a parts store here in town and then call Maurine.

I'd like to drive my car to Atlanta. The Jeep, though it's running preemo lol, get's some seriously shitty gas mileage.

Hard to believe I'm talking about a car that produces nearly 700 hp as the car that I need to take to get good mileage.

Where can I get a list of these TSBs?

That link I posted above, alldata... something has a list. You can search in the top right corner for your vehicle and it'll give a list. Problem is, I can't open them without paying. But at least the # and title is listed.

I'm trying to find these parts. The closest to me is Pascagoula. Bout a 2 hour round trip not counting time at the dealer. Looks like I'm ordering them. Chances of finding them outside of a Chevy dealer is probably none.

The guy at UJ Chevrolet told me he could order it and it would take ten days.

And I'm thinking that, if this thread is accurate, I should be able to get this covered heavily modded or not......... Right?

Here's my problem, should I look first to make sure mine is missing the thrust washers or let the dealer do it. If it's not missing the washers then I gotta pay them.
you've done this much to your car on your own (minus the cam). might as well do this.

Thanks man.

NO whining when driving. Almost seems that a brake is on at times but that could just be the engine slowing the car.

i'll check it all out.
its the transmission thats slowing the car down...lmao

Show is only tomorrow but they had to check in this afternoon I guess.

The way it works is they will compete tomorrow morning for judging and the evening show is just for looks. The judging is done in the morning. The whole thing is literally stick a needle in your eye boring as hell. I'll show up as late as I can so I only have to watch Bonnie.

Ok. Maureen ordered them for me.

Chances that this isn't my problem is slim enough for me to go ahead and get them.

I'll still check it all out this afternoon but I think this problem is pretty much solved.

Looks like a DIY video is in order for anyone else afflicted. LOL
