Actually version 2.0 now handles. Plus it sounds and looks killer, so win or no win, I know which I'd rather have.

look for mbhmotorsports or Modernhorsepower and you will see the headers that I am talking about.

You can never compare the prices with chevrolet cars because chevrolet cars are everywhere and they are mass produced(LS2, LS3, LS7, lS1, LS6 etc, etc).
No I was actually comparing them to the headers for other German cars.

C63's seem to actually be able to hit low 12's from their customers, despite weather conditions, humidity, number of passes made, position of the moon, and how the stars align.
MT using correction times is beside the point. The fact of the matter is that when the 2 cars lined up and raced each other on the same track at the same time with professional drivers the ZL1 beat the C63 Black Series in a drag race when most others in this thread said it couldn't be done. I was right, all the naysayers were wrong, enough said.

This.

I'd love a Mercedes like that

Having the same numbers in the 1/4 mile is what most would call a tie.

See what a little perspective can show you?

Sorry for the pun, ALP

Doesn't that just mean the driver won because they had a better reaction time?

I thought the first one across the line was the winner? We are talking about drag racing, right?

Yeah in that video of the drag race the ZL1 did cross first. The times that MT published and the outcome in the video do not correlate very well. Based on the video I would have guessed the C63 to be 12.2-3 sec.

It really is a drivers race between the two with both posting 12.1 sec. 1/4 miles.

LOL.. I was at this race... had no idea she was driving the car...

there is a video on here of a 6 seed car being short shifted running a 12.02 that guy driving I say the amg loses. on the flip side I have seen people hitting the limiter running 12.5-12.8 then the amg is going to win.

bottom line if you are currious you actually have to race to find out.
^^^ pretty much sums it up right there..

anybody put this one up yet?

Here's the direct youtube url, not through that page.

http://www.shockmansion.com/2012/08/...t-drag-race-2/

And don't take this as a jab from a dodge guy, we weren't even invited to the "worlds greatest drag race". wish I had the opportunity to try something like that on regular concrete and not a prepped track, wonder how far back from the aventador would I end up.
